Hannah (bookwormhannah) | 1527 comments Yay Dizzy!

message 203: by Danielle (new)

Danielle (dizzy_booknerd) | 249 comments Haha yeah, it was a quick read, and I've actually had time to read it today! :-p

I'm going to go with A Cliché Christmas (Love in Lenox, #1) by Nicole Deese. It's the first in the series and just over 200 pages. Hope to make a good dent in it tonight."

Oooh! I loved that book!

message 205: by Brittany (new)

Brittany | 1038 comments I plan to read First Impressions A Contemporary Retelling of Pride and Prejudice (Jane Austen #1) by Debra White Smith as it is the first in the series (Dog/Cat).

Hannah (bookwormhannah) | 1527 comments Tonight’s call:

The Thirteenth category is...

14. Train/Railroad Tracks (2)

Options for completing this category:
1: read a book with a train or railroad tracks on the cover or in the title.
2: read a book that is second in its series.
3: read a book that starts with the letter T (for two/2)

Be sure to check into your team's chat thread before the next category gets called and let them know your reading plans. If it has been two weeks since you last checked into the team's thread (and it isn't a planned absence), you will be removed from the team. Have fun guys!

Hannah (bookwormhannah) | 1527 comments If we complete this one and Dog/cat, it puts us within one diagonally for House.

message 208: by Hannah (new)

Hannah (bookwormhannah) | 1527 comments My book will be “The Stowaway Girl” by Louis Tracy. On page 97 of 343.

message 209: by Staci (new)

Staci | 1071 comments I’m going to finish my dog/cat book first and then decide about Train.

message 210: by Sarita (new)

Sarita | 1386 comments I will read Playing With Fire (Montana Fire #2) by Susan May Warren which is second in the series

message 211: by Brittany (new)

Brittany | 1038 comments I plan to read Room on the Porch Swing (Amish Homestead #2) by Amy Clipston for my Train book as it is the 2nd in the series.

message 212: by Staci (new)

Staci | 1071 comments I just finished my dog/cat book. Since we are not far off from the next category, I'm going to hold off on starting another challenge book. I will use my pass for one of them. About five hours...

message 213: by Hannah (new)

Hannah (bookwormhannah) | 1527 comments I'm one chapter from finishing mine, so I'll be posting my review tonight.

message 214: by Hannah (new)

Hannah (bookwormhannah) | 1527 comments My book for hat will be Flower of the Gorse, which starts with the letter F for Four.

message 215: by Hannah (new)

Hannah (bookwormhannah) | 1527 comments Looks like hat doesn't exactly help us much. :)

message 216: by Staci (new)

Staci | 1071 comments For "hat" I will likely read:

Blown Together (Southern Hearts #4) by Janet W. Ferguson or Tabitha (Girls from the Mountain, #1) by Vikki Kestell

I will start my hat book on Saturday. Time for sleep...

Happy reading ladies!

message 217: by Danielle (new)

Danielle (dizzy_booknerd) | 249 comments I'm reading Cranberry Oatmeal Murder (Cookie Lane #2) by Karen Sullivan for Train (2) and Praline Murder A Seagrass Sweets Cozy Mystery (Book 4) by Sandi Scott for Hat (4).

message 218: by Hannah (new)

Hannah (bookwormhannah) | 1527 comments Sounds good, ladies! :)

message 219: by Sarita (new)

Sarita | 1386 comments Since we don’t have to read all the categories, I might skip hat and finish train first and continue with my river book hoping that it will be called soon

message 220: by Staci (new)

Staci | 1071 comments This is a great point Sarita. If we got hat and then flower that would be bingo. We have quite a few different ways to bingo now. I'll be working on hat. Since I'm not the only one needing train, I'm holding off on making a decision. My current physical read would work, but it's a long one.

message 221: by Sarita (new)

Sarita | 1386 comments My read for train will work for man/women as well, so I’m reading that with the hope that man/woman will be called soon and then will move it over to that category for our bingo :-)

message 222: by Sarita (new)

Sarita | 1386 comments Also, remember that most of us I think still have a free pass to use on any category which is not a winning category for us yet. So train and hat will count for using it on those categories.

message 223: by Staci (new)

Staci | 1071 comments Good point. I may use my free pass on train.

message 224: by Staci (new)

Staci | 1071 comments One team is waiting for two readers to finish the dog/cat book and then they have Bingo.

message 225: by Hannah (new)

Hannah (bookwormhannah) | 1527 comments Yep. And the other team just realized they can bingo with hat.

message 226: by Bess (new)

Bess | 2584 comments Yep, my team...2!!! We're neck and neck. ;)

message 227: by Staci (new)

Staci | 1071 comments It was GREAT fun ladies!!! We got so close!

message 228: by Danielle (new)

Danielle (dizzy_booknerd) | 249 comments It was a blast you guys!! :)

message 229: by Hannah (new)

Hannah (bookwormhannah) | 1527 comments Thanks for being such a great team, ladies!

message 230: by Sarita (new)

Sarita | 1386 comments Thanks Ladies! We were def the team who finished most of the categories called! Was great being part of the team.

message 231: by Hannah (new)

Hannah (bookwormhannah) | 1527 comments Definitely! Our bingo card has a bunch of green on it. We made a very good team. :)
