I don't remember a lot from this book so im sorry if this is supet vague but I've been looking for it for a few weeks so any help would be appreciated!

Basically all i remember is that a girl is working for her uncle who is either a manager or owner of a NFL football team and she used to date one of the players or she was engaged to him but she broke it off and she found a new man (who is rich) and the ex-boyfriend/player tries to beat up the new guy with a few guys from the football team and her uncle takes the players side so she's fired.

Pretty sure the new boyfriend is retired military, and he owns his own business now (or something like that) he has 2 friends (who each get their own book in the series) one of them has really bad PTSD i think, he's really quiet and doesn't really leave his house.

I remember the ending had a Twist like she was the actual owner of the football team or her uncle was actually her dad or something like that
