Colt smiled seeing Sebastian trying to fall asleep in his laugh. He grabbed the remote and turned off the TV and Blu-ray player. "I honestly don't know how is he going to react to finding out about my past", Colt thought while turning off the light.

"Hey Colt," Sebastian said rolling onto his stomach on the couch,"Tell e more about yourself if you're willing." His eyes were closed but his mind was open and ready to absorb information. Today had been nice for him to just relax and now he was more or less back to normal.
Colt what shocked that Sebastian said that immediately after his thought. "You might not like what you hear though. First of all the bullet scar I got when I was seven and my birth father was the one who shot me. Him and my birth mother were drug addicts and they were tired that I was ruining their lives, so they took me to an alley behind the high school football field, where both of them kicked me and then my birth father shot me. Both of them immediately ran after that and I would have died if Dad didn't find me in time", Colt said become experiencing another flashback to that day
Sebastian was quiet for a bit, he knew that nothing he could say would resolve anything or be something that Colt didn't already know. He's probably already heard all the 'It makes you who you are today.' stuff. "I know you've heard it all before haven't you? That this both defines you and doesn't. I don't know what to say other than that I love you and that I'm sorry that it happened." He said quietly. There wasn't much else to say. He looked at Colt from the couch, almost regretted bringing it up but colt had told him of his own volition. He knew more about his boyfriend now which was the goal but now he felt bad. Thinking about it he felt like Colt didn't actually know a lot about him. Not the deeper things anyways.
"When Dad adopted me I personally requested to change my name from Colt Bill Brady to Colt Angus Creed because he is a far better parent than the both of them were. Unfortunately my birth father was released from prison on parole and me and dad knew that he would definitely try to violate the restraining order I have against him so that's why I'm at Blue Lake. Infact my deepest fear is that he finds out about Blue Lake and he goes after you or anyone else on campus that I care about, just to watch me suffer. Promise me you won't say anything that I told you to anyone else, I don't like people knowing about my past", Colt said after his latest flashback ended. he hated talking about his past but he knew Sebastian needed to know the truth his past and his deepest fear.
"I would never say a word. Not even to my brother." Sebastian agreed. He was almost surprised that colt would have to ask but he understood nonetheless why it would scare him. he sat up and held his arms out for Colt to come and get a hug. It was the only thing that Sebastian could think to do now. Anything else seemed ut of place or unnecessary.
Colt accepted Sebastian's offer for an hug. He was kinda happy that he finally told Sebastian about his past. "I love you babe and honestly I was kinda freaking out about how you would react to my past", he said
"I can understand why but really nothing will change but my love and trust for you. It deepens everyday." Sebastian said laying his head on Colt's shoulder.
"Thanks babe", Colt said just as Sebastian he'd began to rest on his shoulder. Today was an important step in his and Sebastian's relationship and he felt like it brought them together even more. He closed his eyes and fell asleep((Skip a couple of days))
Sebastian had just come back from one of his classes and dropped his bag on his bed. He started looking through the books on the side of his bed until he found one and flipped through it, finally planting himself on his bed and beginning to take notes. He was pretty sure Colt would be getting back from football soon.
Colt walked in tired from practice. He has happy to see Sebastian but didn't want his filth to get on him. "I'm going to hop in the shower right quick the locker room showered were broken", he said setting his stuff down and grabbing a clean change of clothes before heading in the bathroom
Sebastian looked up from the book and notes. "Okay love." He said smiling. He grabbed another book for comparison. He was trying to find a page to do a blackout poem on for his English class. Tobio had recommended some more contemporary books, he hadn't known at the time but they were painting books. As he looked through them he found inspiration and finally a page to do his poem on.
Colt walked out of the bathroom 30mins later and put his dirty clothes in his hamper. "So babe what do you want to do", he said before sitting down on the sofa
"Whatever you want to do is fine with me hun bun." Sebastian said looking up from his book page. He'd slipped a piece of cardboard underneath and had a ruler on his bed from making sure the sides were straight.
"well how about we head out and do something you pick the first place we go to", Colt said after thinking for a long time while on the sofa.
"Okay." He said capping his sharpie and stretching, his fingers had remnants of black on them and he wiped them on his jeans, leaving black smudges behind. They fit in perfectly with the rest of the paint stains there.
"Great then" Colt said getting up and grabbed his keys, wallet, and phone before walking over and giving Sebastian a kiss. "So where to first babe", he said after the kiss.
Sebastian washed his hands and grabbed his canvas bag with all his stuff in it and slung it over his shoulder. "I've heard there's a nice fountain towards the middle of campus where the birds are really friendly." He replied, taking Colt's hand.
"Sure though I have something to tell you. I recently got introduced to boxing at the gym and I'm beginning to really like it to the point that I'm actually considering switching from my second sport, baseball to boxing or make it my third extracurricular activity. The reason I'm telling you this is because I want your opinion on this as a factor into my decision on doing it or not", Colt said looking at Sebastian
"I mean if it makes you happy then by all means go and take up boxing. I would never stop you from doing something you enjoy. Just be careful." Sebastian said walking thru the dorms with Colt.
"Thanks babe and you know that I will be careful", Colt said giving Sebastian an kiss. While they were in the elevator he texted the boxing coach that he decided to take it up fully as a sport.
"Do you need to get supplies and stuff? Like tape to wrap your knuckles and everything? I know sometimes you do your wrists for football. I should probably grab some ice packs and bandages. Maybe some more rubbing alcohol and neosporin." Sebastian said thinking about the possibility of Colt getting badly hurt.
"Right now I need to do a couple of different measurements since I have to get 3 or 4 different boxing gloves, the protective gear, the boxing jump rope, boxing shoes, and boxing shirts and trunks. They have boxing like wraps which work like the tape, but I might double it with tape. We can get the ice packs and the other stuff while we are out", Colt said smiling at Sebastian
"Oof, lot's of equipment. Well we can get it all whenever you want." Sebastian replied thinking. He was walking on instinct even though he'd only been to this fountain once before. They were in a free period that they shared but lots of other people were in class so nobody else was there.
"Yeah I'm going to get my measurements done during my first boxing practice. I may see what styles the local sporting goods stores have and if they don't have and designs I like will check online retailers", Colt said. He was thankful for the free block that they shared so they could have quiet moments like this on campus
"That's good. Well while you go to your first practice I'll find some..." Sebastian trailed off as a little bird hopped up to them. "Well hello there sweet bird." He cooed, stooping slowly. He reached out and it perched on his finger. He looked back up at Colt. "I feel like a disney princess." He said, beaming.
Colt laughed at Sebastian's comment. "Well your more a perfect example for how a member of the modern Disney Royalty should be", he said giving Sebastian an kiss.
"I wish they would be more inclusive. Elsa would have made a great lesbian ice queen. Then the parents went and flipped out. Sucks but it's okay." Sebastian said nudging the bird back onto the ground and kissing Colt back.
"Yeah it would be nice to shows and movies in general to be more inclusive. Hopefully as time goes on the industry will embrace it", Colt said smiling after Sebastian's kiss
"Yeah. We just need to normalize it more in everyday life. Then I fell like more people would accept it on screen." Sebastian replied.
"Yeah it's extremely rare to find a bisexual character on the screen. And it doesn't help that a few people still get confused on the subject", Colt said
"True, and the one's that are on screen are usually in a relationship so they either labeled straight or gay and then the others are just pictured as this really overly emotional person lusting after both genders and it's not helpful."
"True even at home I had to explain to my close friends that while I am a little attracted to females, I mostly prefer guys and more interested in strong relationships than flings. That's a big reason why your my first serious relationship since the others didnt want a serious and deeply emotional relationship this early in life like I want.", Colt said smiling before taking off his snapback and placed it on Sebastian's head and then kissed him"You look great with my hat on babe, why don't you keep it" he said when the kiss is finished
"I wish people could understand this sort of thing, it's fairly simple." Sebastian replied. " I've only ever had one other relationship that was meant to be serious but they were toxic, it took me a while but I got out of it. And now I think this is the relationship I'm meant to be in and to stay in." He said, he turned to smile at Colt and suddenly had his hat on and Colt's lips pressed against his. "I'll be sure to steal one of your hoodies to match it." Sebastian said smiling. He loved that he and Colt could have serious conversations and still have fun without it being awkward.
"How about a full jock makeover instead. You do know I want to do lots of runs and workout dates this spring and right now would be a great time for you to get some gym clothes and active wear. I know you definitely don't want anything extreme like my "swole" tank top and "pain is fuel-train on" sleeveless hoodie, so we might have to go clothes shopping", Colt said grinning while getting the "sports life" hat out of his gym bag and placed it on his headThe tank top: https://www.pitbullclothing.com/colle...

"Maybe not a full makeover but I wouldn't mind getting a new pair of joggers or something. Definitely more lowkey." Sebastian replied smiling. A wind swept through the courtyard, it was nearly March but winter was still upon them. Sebastian had even read that it was supposed to snow tomorrow.
"well we can build up your clothes overtime as you get adjusted to my gym schedule and routine. I personally can't wait for sleeveless season to show off these boys proudly again" Colt said while flexing off with a grin on his face. He dreaded a snow day since it would mean he would be able to do his morning run, the gym would be most likely close early, and the dumbbells in the dormroom were too easy to lift.
"You are such a meathead sometimes." Sebastian said laughing. He was sure that while Colt was at the gym he could find a treadmill or a free gym to practice volleyball. He wasn't too much into workouts but he wasn't against it. He needed time to paint anyways.
"hey you know that I consider being called a meathead as a complement but only do pictures with my shirt during workouts", Colt said before getting serious."That's another reason I want you at the gym with me. All 3 of my coaches know about my past and think that I need to start trying to not hide my scar anymore, especially since I'm now doing boxing. It's going to be tough considering I don't like people seeing it and asking me about it because of my flashbacks and that I don't want people to think of me differently. I just hope that you standing next to me can give me the confidence to break down that wall, he added before hugging Sebastian tightly.
"Obviously." Sebastian agreed smiling."I think that even without me you'd be able to kick through that door. I'm just a support system to help if you can't get through it the first few times." He replied hugging Colt.
"Well it's harder than that deep down I think I might be a little ashamed of my life as Colt Brady. I tend to think of my current life as the Phoenix that was born from the ashes of my former life. Maybe I am more messed up mentally than I thought Sebastian", Colt said before giving another hug
"No, I think that's more normal than you think. But we can always find you a professional to talk to it you want. I've been trying to get Tobio to go to one for ages but he just won't and he hasn't gotten any better. Maybe if you go you can figure things out and become more comfortable with yourself." Sebastian replied.
"I have been to a professional before about my flashbacks since Dad thought that it might have be PTSD but the professional never did give me the answer if I have it or not. Then again that professional apparently only cared about money and didn't truly help anyone out so it might be best to see a new professional.I know that what I'm about to recommend for Tobio is super jockish but maybe him taking out some of his problems on a punching bag or lifting weights with me might work a little", Colt said
"I'd suggest seeing a new one, I've heard this area is pretty good about it cause there's a lot of student aged people here. They know how to sympathize and diagnose more." Sebastian replied."Oh he does, well, not punching bags. I usually know when he's upset cause he'll ask me to come set for him. He's really aggressive when he hits. I think it helps him get some stuff out."
"I'll try to get an appointment then babe. Also if you want I can order you and Tobio boxing gloves too and maybe I can arrange a friendly sparing session if he needs to get some aggression out", Colt said while thinking.
"Good, I'm glad." Sebastian replied, "I'm not sure Tobio would be comfortable hitting anyone but an instructor, he on;y hits people out of necessity, even then I've only seen him do it once." Sebastian said thinking back.
"Well I was going to recommend me giving him pointers when I get better at boxing but he probably wouldn't like that. I don't have any more options on that front with Tobio", Colt said while grabbing a bottle of Gatorade out of his bag to drink.
"I don't think Tobio really needs help from us. He'll come to me if he needs it, our sister sets a little too so sometimes he uses her." Sebastian said thoughtfully.
"Alright then just thought I could give some tips in that field", Colt said smiling
"I'll recommend it to him, maybe he'll have a change of heart." Sebastian replied.
