"We can watch it. I just wanna be with you so I don't really care what we do." Sebastian said.

"Ok then babe", Colt said then grabbed the remote to change the channel to the one that had Pompeii on.
Sebastian got comfortable across Colt's lap and settled in for the movie.
After the movie was over Colt let out a yawn and said "I'm tired babe mind if I go to bed".
"Mmm, yeah bed sounds nice." Sebastian said pulling himself off of Colts lap. True to his word he had cried during the movie. He stretched out letting his head drop on the back of the couch.
Colt gave Sebastian a goodnight kiss before he got in the bed and went to sleep. The next morning he woke up at his usual wake up time and went on his morning run. After an hour and a half he returned to take a shower and get ready for class.
Sebastian went and gabbed some pencils and a sketchpad and plopped back down on the couch, doing some drawings without lifting his pencil by the light drifting in from under their door. He eventually fell asleep on the couch. Laying on his stomach, face on his sketchpad with his arm hanging off the couch, a pencil still poised in it as if he were still drawing.
After his shower Colt saw Sebastian sleeping peacefully and took a photo on his phone. "Wakey wakey babe don't want to be late for class" he said then gave Sebastian a morning kiss
Sebastian sat up slowly and stretched. His notebook was on the floor and he picked it up and set it on the coffee table. He rubbed his eyes but didn't say anything. He hardly talked in the morning. "Shower." He mumbled putting a kettle to boil on low so he'd have a little time. He disappeared into the bathroom, coming out four minutes later, his hair sticking to his forehead but dressed. He was wearing black jeans, a black turtle neck and a denim jacket with patches he'd made on it. He poured the boiling water into a french press and made a mocha for himself.
"Want coffee?" He asked trying to dry out his hair.
"No thanks babe I'm already fully awake thanks to my morning run. I should really get you to join me in doing them", Colt said getting some bread and putting them in the toaster.
"I would, but I'm averse to waking up." He said quietly. Prior to his coffee was almost the only time Sebastian was quiet and the only time he was most like his brother. He sat up on the counter and moved to take a sip of his coffee and then set it back down, contemplating."Hey Colt?"
"Yes babe", Colt said getting the toast out of the toaster and sitting down to eat.
The thought plagued him a moment more before completely slipping away. He sighed, tired of being happy all the time but not able to be like his brother. He sipped his coffee. "Oh nothing." He said cheerily, "It slipped my mind."
"well the first of the harder and longer practices that I asked coach for is today. I also would like for us to do a workout date at the gym Saturday", Colt said to Sebastian after eating his toast. He got up to the sink and washed his plate and made his protein shakes for the day.
"Saturday? Alright." Sebastian said. He was still tired but his first class didn't start til 10:30 in the morning and it was only eightish. He stayed perched on the counter. Just looking at Colt. "Do you realize how cute you are Colt?" He asked gently.
"I'm not cute I'm tough, the cute one in the relationship is you. Oh, do you want to go to the spring dance with me? I already have the outfit that I plan to wear to it", Colt said heading into the bedroom and then came out with a box in his hands. He opened the box and took out a white long sleeved compression shirt, gold compression pants, gold running shoes, a gold baseball cap, and a dumbbell necklace.(( here's what the dumbbell necklace looks like https://www.amazon.com/Stainless-Fitn... ))
"I mean, you're cute to me." He said wrinkling his nose, smiling. "Yeah Ill go with you. By the looks of it the theme is gold?" He asked laughing a bit. He'd have to go shopping later. He wasn't sure how much golden attire he owned.
"The theme is white and gold. I bet you will look great in white since I will be wearing mostly gold", Colt said smiling at Sebastian
Sebastian looked at his pale skin. He'd look like a complete an utter ghost but he'd spice it up with something. "Sounds good hun." He said slipping off the counter. He perched on the table in their room.
Colt gave Sebastian a hug and a kiss and said, "You are the best boyfriend that a jock could ask for".
"I try." He said kissing Colt back. He wrapped his arms around Colt protectively. He'd learn more eventually. But this was fine for now.
When Sebastian's hug ended Colt said, "Babe is something on your mind".
Sebastian hesitated for a moment, "I guess." He said quietly. He buried his head in colt's chest instead of meeting his eyes.
"Babe you can tell me anything what is worrying you", Colt said smiling
"I feel like, maybe, we don't really know each other like we should." He hesitated. "Like sure I talk a lot but it's not anything significant I don't even now your favorite food or anything really about your past." He said swinging his legs nervously. He pulled at his collar, an old habit from when he got nervous or uncomfortable.
"Sebastian I will tell you my past but only if Tobio is in the room so you have a little emotional support. If you want to know today then I recommend you to research my birth name Colt Bill Brady. I will answer any question you have afterward, but I do get have PTSD like flashbacks when talking or thinking about it", Colt said looking at Sebastian. He knew that Sebastian would one day ask him about his past but was hoping that it would be a while from now.
"I'll just leave it for now then." Sebastian said leaning back into Colt's chest. He wrapped his arms around Colt's waist. Sebastian didn't want anything to hurt Colt and he didn't want to be the cause. He filed the name away in his head, he'd look it up sometime. He'd learn then one day, later in their relationship, he'd have a day with Colt and Tobio and talk about it. He wanted to be there for Colt but not in a way that would cause bad things to happen to him.
"I'm sorry Sebastian my past is dark and I don't want to cause you any pain. If you do decide to check my past on the web be careful, because there is someone that I really don't want him to know my current location", Colt said trying not to say too much so he doesn't trigger a flashback episode.
"You don't have to apologize. There's nothing to apologize for." He said snuggling into Colt's chest more. He didn't want to hurt Colt. He tried switching topics."There are so few people who see me this mellow." He said into Colt's shoulder. "People say I'm like the sun but right now I'm just on the rise, mellow and small and calm. It's nice to feel this way I guess." He said quietly.
"babe you know that you are perfect just the way you are", Colt said enjoy Sebastian's head on his chest
"I mean, to you yeah. I just wish i could be more mellow without having people think something's off. But being mellow with just you is perfect enough for me." He said draping his arms on Colt's hips.
"I just hope you won't think of me differently when you find out about my past. I hate it when someone judges me just by my past", Colt said to Sebastian
"Colt I already love you too much and nothing is going to dampen that love. My love for you won't change." He said quietly. He figured today was a mellow day for them both and decided not to have his coffee, just to go quietly.
"Thanks, babe you are one of the best things to ever happen to me", Colt said then kissed Sebastian's hand.
"I'm glad." He said smiling softly. He enjoyed his talks with Colt though sometimes they were few. He loved Colt and everything about him even if that was his occasional lack of words.
"I will always love you Sebastian all I want to do is make you happy. Just don't give up on your college plans for me. I know that you said you would take online classes for me when I do play college football but I want you to follow your passions", Colt said to Sebastian
"Art can go wherever I go. Paintings and drawings won't get me much. But maybe photography. Maybe teaching an art class. I'll do what it takes." Sebastian replied softly.
"Sebastian your paintings and drawings are better than you think. Any art school would be lucky to have you", Colt said before giving Sebastian a kiss
"I mean. I'd love to go to an art school but being an artist won't bring i much of an income. Tobio is a artist of all types, music, writing, drawing, even cooking, but even he has plans to do something other than that because he knows the practicality of the situation and that is that it's not going to bring in much money." Sebastian said kissing Colt back.
Babe who cares I know for a fact that people that are ninjas in Japan are alright living below the poverty live because they are doing a job that they love. If I don't end up playing in the NFL, CFL, or international football league like the Irish American Football League, then I will be happy with being just a normal football coach because I love football. Money doesn't bring much happiness babe", Colt said to Sebastian
"I still need to be able to provide for us. I need to think about the practicality of everything. Rent, groceries, tuition. It's all very expensive. I still need to figure out an apartment situation. Probably meal plans. I'm going to need a better job. I might not go to college until you're done, that way while you're at school I can work and then you can work and I'll still work but take a little time off for school here and there." Sebastian said into Colt's shoulder, thinking hard.
"Yeah because the NCAA has rules on money for college athletes. Those rules are very complicated and I am still trying to understand them. Besides Sebastian im one grade higher than you, we are going to be doing a long distance relationship for a year until you graduate high school", Colt said
"I can move high schools. I don't mind." Sebastian said quietly. "I want us to be together. I want your future to be bright and fun and full of joy and happiness and I want to provide that for you. I can take online classes even. Work during the day and take classes at night. There are ways we can make it all happen."
"Sebastian you are the best boyfriend a guy can ask for", Colt said then kissing Sebastian
"Maybe not the best, but hopefully the best for you." Sebastian said kissing Colt back. He liked them like this. Sebastian sitting on a table, Colt standing in front of him, holding him to his chest. It was secure.
After an minute in the kiss, Colt's phone alarm goes off. "Sorry babe I have to go to class right now. I will see you after my special extended practice", Colt said ending the kiss, grabbing his stuff and walked out of the room. ((Mind if we skip until that evening unless you want Sebastian to meet one of my other characters like Kade ( my bull riding cowboy), Brett, or Jason (Colt's rival)))
"Oh. Okay, have a nice day honey." Sebastian said, watching Colt leave. He sat on the table,staring at the wall opposite him for a moment until he hopped off and started tidying the papers strewn across his bed.((Any of those are okay. I'm really chill about where this goes. You can decide.))

They had just finished the last movie, Beetlejuice, and the remainder of Tobio's fried chicken and other comfort foods and Sebastian was laying across Colt's lap, feeling better, lighter. While they were eating he'd realized he was just incredibly hungry and that he had just taken it as something was wrong. At least that's what he'd told himself. As the credits began to roll Sebastian closed his eyes and smiled up at Colt.
