When did you read this--last month, last year, last decade, last century?
What format did you read it in--dead tree, electron, audio?
Any memory of the cover?
Any memory on the sex of the author--male or female?
I do believe it was a romance but it could also be under suspence maybe. I read it last year.
It was on amazon kindle, so electronic.
No memory of the cover, or of the author. But if i had to guess i would say it was female.

I do believe the person she also ran from somehow finds her. Also the he childhood friend owns race horses. I think, I don't know if I'm wrong about that.

What is Fingersmith? Who wrote it? The only books that I can see listed with that title (or an author by that name) don't have anything like what Ruth described.
I never heard of fingersmith before. The book also had another character it is a friend of the girls, she is another girl that was with her when she seen what she shouldn't have of. But it dosnt mention her alot.
