➳ Blood Seal: If a person places his or her hand upon this blood seal that is placed upon a solid surface then all angels in the immediate area will be banished away.
➳ Exorcism Chant: There is an exorcism chant to expel angels from their human vessels and send them back to heaven.
➳ Holy Fire: The best way to trap an angel is to place them within a circle of burning holy oil. The angel will not be able to leave the circle. If an angel touches holy fire then not only will the human vessel be destroyed and die, a low ranking angel can be killed as well.
➳ Angelic Blade: An angel can be killed by stabbing him or her with an angelic blade. It seems that the angel must be stabbed in a vital area of the human body, such as the head, heart, neck, or stomach. When an angel is stabbed by an angelic blade, a burst of bright, white light is released and angel wings are burned on the surface underneath the body of the angel's human vessel
➳ Lucifer's Cage: Strong enough to securely contain normal angels and archangels; it currently is holding the two strongest archangels in existence, Michael and Lucifer.
➳ Enochian Sigils: When Enochian sigils are placed on humans' rib cages, they prevent any angel from detecting and finding them however archangels seem resistant to this ability. They can also be used to prevent angels from entering a building by painting them on the building's walls.
➳ Hex Bags: Hex bags can used to prevent angels from detecting and finding someone.
➳ Weapons of Heaven : Such as Staff of Moses and Lot's Salt It harms angels and archangels; so far it's been shown that a weapon of heaven can destroy an archangel's human vessel so that it can not be resurrected.

They are similar to the traditional dragons in lore, but, whilst in confined spaces, they appear more like humanoid creatures rather than the winged beasts shown in traditional art. ⤷Djinn are humanoid creatures with tattooed skin that prefer to live in large ruins with a lot of places to hide. They feed on human blood and can poison their victims with a touch. The poison can be used either to kill their victims quickly, or to leave victims in a coma-like state while the djinn feeds on their blood over a long period of time. Djinn are depicted in the Koran as beings with godlike powers. Contemporary lore depicts them as genies and are able to read a person's mind to learn their deepest desires; however, the djinn do not truly grant wishes like the genies of lore. Instead, using their poison, the Djinn causes hallucinations so powerful that the immobilized victim thinks he or she is actually living in the reality the Djinn implanted.

The fantasy universe differs among the victims but it is generally where they believe their wish has been granted. Victims under the influence of the Djinn could see other victims as apparitions within their fantasy. At their peak, these fantasies, are incredibly detailed, to the point were they include a fantasy version of the Djinn who infected them, and their victims. Time passes slowly enough in the fantasy universe that the djinn's victims will feel as if they are living an entire lifetime before their physical bodies die. The only way to escape from the Fantasy universe, is for the person to commit suicide, in which case they wake up. However if they die in the fantasy from anything other than their own hand, they will die in real life.

When hunting the ones it was sent after, a Shojo likes to take its time, approaches its target very slowly, only becoming aggressive and quick when it realizes that others can see it, or when someone or something tries to get in its way.It also seems to prefer openly attacking its prey when they're intoxicated enough to be able to perceive it, and is fine with simply following them until such time, implying that it likes to play with its victims. Either that, or it absolutely refuses to ambush them when they are unaware that it's close by. ⤷Rugarus are born and live as humans for all intents and purposes, typically being unaware of their condition, but at a certain age they will suddenly begin craving large quantities of food. This condition is not a virus; rather, it is passed down genetically. A person who possesses this gene will eventually give in to the urge to feed and will devour a human. The change starts out with an increased hunger for all food, but quickly transforms into a powerful craving for flesh, specifically human. The change itself is very fast, occurring within minutes of the Rugaru's first bite of human flesh. Once the Rugaru gives in to its desire to feed on a human, there is no going back; the Rugaru will lose its human appearance and change into a monster.

Skinwalkers can look exactly like typical humans--however, they can shift back and forth from a human form and a dog form whenever they want. ➳ Bones: If the bones belonging to the demon is burned the demon will be killed much like a vengeful spirit. This can also be used to torture demons.
➳ Exorcism: Will pull the demon out of its host and send them to hell. Hosts may not survive.
➳ Devil's Trap: A Devil's Trap will hold a demon in place and prevent their escape. The Trap will also prevent a lower level demon from using their powers.
➳ Angel's Touch: An angel can kill a demon by touching them on the forehead with their hand. This power will not work if the demon is too powerful or if the angel is too weak.
➳ Special Children: Sam Winchester developed special abilities almost especially tailored to hurt or kill demons. Due to training from Ruby and ingestion of demon blood he first developed the power to pull demons out of humans. Later the powers advanced to killing demons like the knife or colt.

Tammi was also able to stop a bullet shot from the Colt in mid-air. Although the Knights of Hell are black eyed demons, they are far more powerful and possess much greater abilities.

They can grant wishes, collect souls, teleport, and be summoned by digging a hole in the center of a crossroads and burying a box with a picture of the summoner, some graveyard dirt, and a bone from a black cat. Knights of Hell are very powerful demons that were handpicked by Lucifer himself and created/trained by Cain, the Father of Murder. They are some of the first fallen demons. Legend among Men of Letters had it that archangels have destroyed all but at least one but in truth Cain himself killed them. They possess a number of abilities not seen from other types of demons. They are also nearly invulnerable, being immune to exorcism rites and even the demon-killing knife. The only weapon that can kill one is The First Blade. With Abaddon's death, Cain is the only Knight of Hell remaining. Dean Winchester is possibly a Knight now that he has died and been resurrected by the Mark of Cain.

➳Aphrodite - Influence over love and relationships, and most are able to speak French fluently. When first claimed, they have Aphrodite's blessing for a few days. Some may have charm-speaking abilities.

➳Apollo - Healing, archery, poetry, limited control of light, and cursing to make others speak only in poetry.

➳Ares - The ability to handle most, if not all weapons expertly, and curse others so their weapons no longer can be used effectively.

➳Artemis - (HUNTERS ONLY) Archery, and immortality as long as not killed in battle, heightened swiftness and fighting skills, faint silver glow.

➳Athena - Wisdom, maybe heightened IQ. Ability to plan more effectively than most other cabins.

➳Demeter - Influence over nature.

➳Dionysus - Influence over nature, primarily grapes and berries. Mild control of madness as well.

➳Hades - Control over all things underworld, can summon dead, mild control of the element of Earth, can communicate with ghosts, shadow traveling, etc.

➳Hephaestus - Ability to forge materials and weapons of superior quality. Occasionally have the ability to control fire, but it is extremely rare. Can create certain magic items and weapons, although staff approval is required before magic weapons or items can be forged. That includes any weapon that can change into a key-chain, necklace, etc.

➳Hermes - Heightened ability to steal, some influence over travel and speed. Some have the ability to silence their movements. Ability to pick locks by sensing gears [SPECIAL]

➳Poseidon - Control of all things water, also mild control of hurricanes and also earthquakes. Can communicate with horses and sea creatures.

➳Zeus - Control of all things sky, including lightning. Electricity does not effect them as it would on a normal person. Some communication with creatures of the air. Also can control the air, at great expense to their energy.

➳Mortality - their physical strength wanes once they reach old age. They are vulnerable to diseases, and any form of physical harm.
➳Mental health - humans generally react with fear, confusion and disbelief when confronted with the threat of the supernatural. Hunters often seem emotionally scarred by the experiences that led them into this way of life and seem reluctant to talk about their past experiences. Hunters who live long enough sometimes end up in mental asylums. Sam and Dean Winchester express suicidal feelings in the later seasons of the show as most of the people they cared about have been killed and the world continues to face overwhelming threats of destruction.
➳Lack of supernatural senses - this prevents most humans from detecting and/or identifying sources of harm from the supernatural world before it's too late.
➳Spellcasting - while they can gain power from spellcasting and witchcraft, they are also vulnerable to different forms of magic.
Curses - related to spellcasting, curses often cause doom to any human without the proper knowledge to undo or prevent the curse.
Higher beings - any other creature with supernatural powers can potentially kill humans.
