Finish the line: I know I'm a book addict because.... If people disturb me whilst reading I bite their heads off (I'm a placid person naturally)

I believe you'll fit right in. As an impartial (*snikers*) person, I can say we have some great challenges and buddy reads. Check them out and see if you can find something you like (beside those you've already started ☺)
Since our Quest Master Kelly could stop by, I have to mention our little RPG challenge. I think people are having fun with it.
Also you could check our team challenges. One we have going on now (team towers), should be finished soon so keep your eyes open for next one.

No need to be shy. We are all here for same reason-we love books.
Since you're author, you might want to check our author's folder. That would be great place if you want to tell us more about your writing.

Your library lets you check out 100 books?! At the same time? *sigh* I'm fighting with mine to get forth

Hope you'll have fun here with us :)

Best way to find recommendations is to ask in our recomendations thread or check our books of the month or buddy reads.
Challenges could also be good for finding your next reads since you see what other members are reading. :)

Welcome to the thread, Amanda.
A few days ago I discussed living abroad with a couple of my colleagues during our lunchbreak. Australia came up and we agreed that we're too afraid of snakes and spiders to ever live there (happily). We opted for New Zealand, less frightening fauna there. :)

Welcome to the thread, Dyan. I hope you'll have fun here.
I enjoy reading a good fanfic now and then, too. I started as a huge Samantha Carter/Jack O'Neill shipper back in the old Stargate SG-1 days. I read tons of S/J fics as a remedy for all the shipper angst on the show. What is your favourite fandom?
