Introduce Yourself Part Two

The two later this month seem particularly bad for wait lists for people. You can join in later and answer questions once you get the book. A lot of months there are less popular/older books and they're easier to get.

Steven wrote: "Finish the line: I know I'm a book addict because.... (see my first answer!!!) "
Um, Nov 30? :P

Birthday:August 9
Favorite Book(s):So many, that I can't name them all, but sometimes I feel as though I haven't found it yet for all I know my absolute favorite hasn't been written yet. Most of the books that I rate 5 is a favorite from that point on, but I do read the Highlander and Fever series book by Karen Marie Moning almost every year and I have gone back to read Eloisa James books that I have enjoyed in the past, especially Desperate Duchesses series.
Favorite Book Genre:Romance the steamier the better, funny will get you a little bit further, but almost any sub genre of romance will do. Mystery and thrillers every once in a while and Urban Fantasy can be thrown in there also.
Favorite Author:KMM, Eloisa James, James Patterson(mainly WMC), Tessa Dare, Sylvia Day, Sabrina Jeffries, Darynda Jones(hilarious), and quit a few others.
Favorite Color:I don't really have one but I am partial to purple and definitely black(please don't say it's not really a color, that's the response I usually get)
Favorite Food: I love Italian, but anything that taste good to me I will continue to each. Basically, I eat to live, not live to eat.
Any Pets: My daughter has a hamster and we are thinking of buying the other a guinea pig, but that will be the extent of pets in my house. The children make enough of a mess without help.
If I could live anywhere in the world it would be: Somewhere with snow during Christmas, but pretty warm at other times, also I want beautiful clear water and white sand beaches.
Finish the line: I know I'm a book addict because....I love books. Seriously, I can't make myself stop buying them. I have enough to fill a small library. Also, I can't see myself not reading. Yes, I have to stop for certain things, and I do have other hobbies, but reading is a part of who I am, always has been as long as I can remember. I carry books everywhere I go, they are somewhere in every room in my house, including but not limited to the kitchen and the bathroom. I can't imagine my life without them, plus I will take them in any format.

My birthday is October 16th.
My fav books are The Outsiders and The Fault in our Stars.
My fav genre as of late is science fiction focusing on post apocalypse worlds and dystopias.
My fav author is S.E. Hinton.

My fav food is any type of pasta or noodle dish minus the cheese.
My pet Betsy is no longer with us as a few months ago, she was a sweet beagle.
If I could live anywhere in the world In a specific time period I would live in Ancient Egypt.
I know I'm a book addict because I'd much rather socialize with fictional characters in books than many of the people my age.

I'm a fairly big reader. I'm not sure what my preferred genre is these days as I started reading anything I could get my hands on when I was desperate and found my taste evolved over time. There are a few genres I'm still not a fan of though. I'm currently a member of an Australian's abroad online book club which has encouraged me to read more from authors of my homeland. I'm always well ahead with the required reading for this and looking for suggestions of other books to read as well so thought I'd join some other groups for inspiration. I've not really used goodreads before so I'm just learning how this works. From what I can see there appears to be books to read every month in this group and discussions about the books which is great.
Looking forward to getting started!

Free write is fine.
Yeah, each month we have Book of the Month from 3 categories (4 from February). Those books are suggested and then voted by members. Maybe from time to time one of the Mods will have 'take-over' and then it's book by their choice.
There are also buddy reads where you can read a book and discuss it with others. If you have book in mind head over to BR requests thread and look for a buddy. Or you could browse through that thread and see what others want to read. But be prepared. It's quite huge one. :)
Hope you'll have fun here and find some interesting books to read and great people to read them with. :)

That doesn't mean you can't check challenges also :)
