What are some of the ways Jerkins used to attain white acceptance? How did she internalize anti-black sentiments from a white-driven society so that it impacted her self image and self esteem?

How do nonblack people utilize and take up black spaces to perpetuate antiblack racism? Is it possible at all for nonblack people to navigate black spaces without perpetuating this oppression?
