Ooh this sounds good, Kerri! I've not read this author either!

Yes indeedy. Thought it was about time I read the book.

Hi Tien,
The show is called Shetland and it was on the ABC in Aus. Not sure if it's on Netflix.

Hi Li'l
Seems like everybody has read it already except for me.

Thanks, Rob! and it is on Netflix, 2 seasons.
Enjoy it Tien. The characters are quite similar to the ones in the books especially Jimmy Perez.

This may be redundant as I'm not sure where you call home, Tien.
NETFLIX is worldwide though, correct?
I'll have to watch it! How fun! Thanks for sharing, mates!
Perhaps tonight as my eyes are needing a break from reading ALL weekend!
I know what you mean Owl - blurry eyes and a massive headache! Just as well we only do it quarterly!

Owl! This whole time I assumed you were Aussie! You've blown my mind!

I'm in AU, Owl :D
Netflix is worldwide though I believe there are also some differences of content in different countries so you're lucky to have found Shetland there too ;p

LOL!

Did you? That's very funny! Guess I had you fooled, Krystal!
It's just that most of my book mates are here. Honestly I've tried other gr groups in the past but didn't last long in any for several reasons.
That's so far from the case here that you all are my bookie family! 😊xx

I may be a little biased, but this is a pretty great group. :)

We are changing the criteria for the monthly reads that we had for 2017. For our 2018 monthly reads we will do a different country per month. For April's read we are looking for books set in England
So - nominate a crime/mystery/thriller/suspense book set in England for our April read. True crime or cosy mysteries are included in this :)
NOTE: Only the beginning of a series (if a series) please :)
This thread will be open until 10th March, then our nominations will go to the vote:) Good luck and have fun!
Authors and publishers, please don't nominate your own work!
