Species: The Akaians
Folkname: Ocean Elves
Species History: The Akaians are a partly offshoot of the elves, some unknown catastrophe long ago forced these elves away and underwater, and due to both magic and evolution they have developed both gills and lungs so they can breathe underwater as well, their own tribal cities are usually located at the bottom of the ocean with a magical charm to keep the water out of the city, allowing regular races to wander around too, some have started living at the surface and usually have the jobs of fisherman or warriors at sea, they have a lower amount of magic then most elves but are also physically stronger in magic then elves, their most used magic is aqua magic and restoration magic

Also I have chosen a random name for the world it takes place in. Inspired from my book the world is named Valoria(Stupid name, I know XD unless you have something better hehe)

The Elves
The elves are the most mysterious out of all of the species and usually are around forests except for some of the other types of elves. The elves also have more magic than humans but not as much as Demons and Angels do. Elves are usually good creatures except for one or a few of their different types. The different types of elves might have more magic than others do. Usually elves stay in their communities but a few decide to venture out and explore. Elves are also extremely good with bows and forest/nature magic.
Half-elves are usually a combination between humans and elves and usually have their best traits from both. They are usually good but a rare few decide not to be since they were from a different type of elf. Half-elves are just as unpredictable as humans but are usually very good archers.

Angels are powerful species, there are only a few in the world and they serve as guardians to the world, protecting it from demons. They hold magic that is special called Divine Magic. Though their magic is strange it has a long cooldown and it's rare for them to use it. Some angels married some humans and lived normal lives unless they're needed.(This is what I got so far, tell me if I should add some more things)

Folkname: Snowdwellers
Species History: The Ljords are a offshoot of the regular human race, and 90% lives up in the northern and cold area's, they are naturally more talented at ice magic then other humans and have a resistance against ice magic, it's said that they used to come from the continent of Frellion, before that continent froze so much it became unlivable for any race, even the powerful angels and demons, the Ljords fled to the main continent, where they met the other races, and at first clashed with them, then they retreated to their own space, and only recently have started going to other countries, where they mostly work as a blacksmith or a hunter

Species History: A Meifwa is an ancient species, A half cat half human hybrid. They've been around since the beginning of humans. They specialize in many different magics, but mainly healing magic and transformation magic. They also were awesome Blacksmiths, which became one of the main career choice for many Meifwa children. Meifwa's were also known as "Protectors of nature" for they watched out for the forest, humans, and other species, trying to keep the world at balance. There were many different social groups, The mystics being the strongest. Not many Meifwas live today, due to most of them being killed off by demons. The surviving Meifwas, the new generation too, are mainly scattered, usually never staying in a huge group.

The Dark Elves are the most evil out of all of the elves and since they sided with the demons during the Great War, most of them were either underground or in the Dark Forest. Nowadays though they mind their own business. Most dark elves are good at dark magic and stealth. However there are a few that are good at other things.

The Humans
The Humans are the most widespread out of all of the species but also the most unpredictable as well as not having as much magic available to them straight away. However sometimes there are a few races that have better magic than other races but there are also races that have access to little or no magic. The humans also take up the most amount of jobs as well ranging from blacksmiths, fishermen, heroes, etc but can also be things like villains or criminals.
The other races of humans are usually combinations with other species but occasionally there are a rare few humans that are very strange and are either combinations between more than two species or are a brand new race of human.
