March has many marvelous celebrations. The idea of this challenge is to honor these festivities by reading!
description

1. March is Irish American Heritage Month. Read a book with the main setting in Ireland or a book where the main character is Irish.

2. March is Music in Our Schools Month . Read a book with the main setting in school or where the main character is a musician.

3. March is Women’s History Month. Read a book with a female author or a book with a strong female lead.

4. March is Red Cross Month. Read a book with the main setting in a hospital or doctor's office, or a book where the main character is a doctor or nurse.

5. It is said that March Comes In Like a Lion and Goes Out Like a Lamb. Read a book featuring animals.

6. March 1 is National Pig Day . Read a book with the main setting on a farm or ranch.

7. March 2 is Old Stuff Day . Read a book that has been on your to-read list for over a year.

8. March 4 is Hug a GI day . Read a book with a military setting or whose main character is or was in the military.

9. March 14 is Learn About Butterflies Day. Read a book with a butterfly on the cover or butterfly in the title/series title.

10. March 17 is Saint Patrick's Day. Read a book with a green cover.

11. March 20 is International Earth Day. Read a book with the main setting someplace other than Earth.

12. March 29 is National Smoke and Mirrors Day. Read a book where the main character practices magic.

13. March 31 is National Clam on the Half Shell Day. Read a book with the main setting near a large body of water – an ocean, lake, or river.

Reading Levels:
1-3 Mini
4-6 Mainstream
7-9 Monumental
10-13 Magnificent

Post your books now, or post as you go, but books don't count unless they are read in the month of March!
