I get that they are in a super secret branch and can't just call for backup, but these two ladies seem to charge in with guns blazin' a little recklessly, no? I guess we are about to see how that turns out.... (hide spoiler)]

up to 34 - (view spoiler)[ Something is not sitting well with me with this Willy guy. If the boogeyman marked him and he summons it (even if it for someone else), doesn't that mean he has powers himself? What are they? Is he acting? I'm confused.

Finished: Damn, I kind of liked that book!

Does this mean he will be joining their team in some capacity? I hope so! After reading all that romance last month, I was a little disappointed that Harmony only got a couple of kisses from him!

Like what real cop would suggest putting on Halloween masks and threatening with guns to scare off a bunch of teenagers? Speaking of young ones, good for Kevin for moving on! up to Ch 18: (view spoiler)[ I was so happy Cody was back, and now I'm not. Harmony is just going to break his little cowboy heart and it makes me sad. Doesn't she get that they BOTH deserve a little fun and happiness in this crazy life of theirs? Can't they just take it as it comes? Ugh!

On a different note - it sounds like they are taking him to NASA with them, so he'll be a real rocket scientist for a bit. How cool is that for him?

And before I forget - Kevin! How stupid can a teenager be? Jesse has to GOT to be scary enough to at least make you question whether your groin is making bad decisions. Right? (hide spoiler)]

Book one ch1-3. Just checking, this isn’t really serious is it? Bogeyman...

Book one up to ch5. Love how they’re all so matter-of-fact about the supernatural things they’re encountering.

Book one up to ch34. Things have got a fair bit darker. The relationship between the two agents keeps the humour going.

Book one completed. Review on home page. Darker than I expected, but definitely an interesting idea/character.

Up to Ch 26 - (view spoiler)[ I was wondering when we were going to get some Demon action in this book! I guess we are about to.

I'm also waiting for something more to develop between Cody and Harmony. They've talked about it now, and I get that they are busy with the case, but I'd like to see them get busy too. As Jesse said it.. Harmony needs to get laid. (hide spoiler)]

Finished: (view spoiler)[ Well that was a fun ride! I was a little surprised at the end that they didn't have to face the King of Silence and whip up some way to get rid of him. But...it sounds like they are going to be facing all 9 kings at some point, so I guess we will get in on that action later.

I was also a little disappointed that Cody didn't want to join the team. I do like him even if he barely speaks.

Was it just me or did Jesse's "Beast" not play much of a role in this book? Perhaps we will see more of it in the next one? (hide spoiler)]

I thought this was a very interesting premise for their team to face. When I started the series, I thought they would be facing similar occult bad guys doing similar crimes on Earth - the outer space/rocket/sci-fi twist was a nice surprise. I'm moving on to Book 3, but I probably won't start until next week.

I'm going to hold off on the 4th book since I am ahead. I'm sure once Alaina gets going on these, she will finish them all quickly.

I still don't understand why Diehl needs to be off limits. If they knock him off, couldn't they just put someone else deep cover to take his place to get into the Network? (hide spoiler)]

Ch 23 - (view spoiler)[ I don't like that they are willing to let this Angus guy just go and have him owe them a favor later on. Isn't he like suspect #1 in a bunch of their cases? Seems like Harmony and Jesse are dolling out too many deals and compromising their sense of Justice.

I especially don't like it that they let Cody just go off to murder someone. Seems like they could have done more to stop him from turning into the exact type of criminal that he hates. (hide spoiler)]

Ch 35 - (view spoiler)[ This whole Althea storyline has me worried. Jesse already has enough control issues, now you throw her mommy issues into the mix too. I see BAD things ahead for them.

How could Linder NOT know what they are up to at this point? He isn't a very good spy if he just keeps taking their "status updates" at face value. I mean, he also has to notice that everyone on the Glass Predator list is starting to get knocked off, right? (hide spoiler)]

Finished - I really like this series. It's different. (view spoiler)[ The ending has me frustrated though! I mean Althea gets away, Harmony hasn't really made up with Cody, Harmony is now a junkie, Jesse has to come straight with Linder (who sounds like he is about to kill their whole team), they still don't know what Cold Spectrum is, and now they have more incarnates after them. (hide spoiler)] There is a lot to accomplish in Book 4. I bet it will be a good one!
