Hi ladies! I know I've been somewhat MIA! After vacation, I was slammed at work and have just been so busy!

I did finish my Pick For Me challenge (Mafia and His Angel from Tessa)....ended up reading the whole series! Loved it!

Anyway, I still need to pick an ATF from Kooloo's list. I've read a lot of hers. Here are my choices:

I absolutely loved the Anna Zaires book/series, if you are in the mood for something a little dark and Stockholm-y. The other three I haven't read, but they are on my list!!!

I truly enjoyed 10 Tiny Breaths and remember it even now, with its heart and lots of feels. I absolutely loved American Queen and its intrigue and angst. So, between those, American Queen means you are going to dedicate yourself to a trilogy, while, though there are more books with 10 Tiny Breaths, it is a standalone. :)

Also... *Squees and jumps up and down* You loved it! YEAH! Though, *whispers* I'm too scared to read Blood and Roses. That's gonna be a SADDDDDD! book.

I'm with Tessa... I liked the New Camelot series a lot. American Queen was good...but IMHO American Prince was the bomb diggity!

Exactly! I can't read Victoria Aveyard's Cruel Crown or JM Darhower's Made for the same reason. They are prequels that will HURT!

I'm going to start American Queen. Problem is I always have the first book in the series and then I have to buy the rest. Oh well....book problems!

Jean--of the books you listed, I've only read Ten Tiny Breaths. I had to go back and check my review because I was wondering if it might be an 'I loved it 5 years ago', but I gave it rave reviews for angst, and K.A. Tucker is a great author, so I'd probably still love it. I just knocked it for too much fade-to-black. It's probably good that you're picking American Queen. I'm going to read that series eventually.

And, Lisa--how can you not have read This Man??? I know you love the asshole jerkface alphas, so...

Do y'all think I can read it? I want to so badly, but I read the blurb and now I'm scared. I can't bring myself to read Full Tilt, but I know what happens in it and it hits just too close to home. Could this book affect me in the same way??

I am still glad I read it as I like to see what the hype is on popular books. It was audiobook with good narration that kept me company while doing chores.

OK, I am 20% in and am going to DNF. This book isn't for me, it is quite dull. I have skimmed and looked at spoilers so i get the gist of the story.
