RULES:
✽ One book for one square/task
✽ Each player has to read at least one book per week.
✽ Players X and O take turns selecting their positions in the grid.
✽ You have to post your book corresponding to the task you want to read for to reserve your spot.
✽ Players must then finish their respective books before choosing the next spot.
✽ For each book that you read please post a link to the book, the author, the date you finished it and how the book fits the task.
✽ All formats are allowed.
✽ Re-reads over one year old are fine.
✽ Graphic novels or manga are NOT allowed,
✽ NO minimum page length.
✽ DO mention if you're a fast reader (2-3 books per week) or slow reader (1 book per week)

✽✽I have decided to add a twist in the game. I'll explain 4 different scenarios for you to understand it easily. This twist is not mandatory and it is up to the players if they want it or not.

1st scenario:
*X wins the toss, X selects her book/spot first.
*O selects her spot second.
*If X finishes first she can select her spot after that and so on.

2nd scenario:
*O wins the toss, O selects her book/spot first.
*X selects her spot second.
*If O finishes first she can select her spot after that and so on.

3rd scenario:
*X wins the toss, X selects her book/spot first.
*O selects her spot second.
*Now here comes the twist. BOTH partners have to decide among themselves if they want this twist or not.
-Suppose O finishes the book first instead, O can submit it.
-Then O can put dibs for the third spot first.
-This third spot will be free for X to claim as well.
-The one who finishes first can take the spot. The other will have to forfeit the spot.
-Let's assume O finishes first, then X will get the next turn and it continues like that.

4th scenario:
*O wins the toss, O selects her book/spot first.
*X selects her spot second.
*Now here comes the twist. BOTH partners have to decide among themselves if they want this twist or not.
-X finishes first, X can claim the third spot.
-O also puts claim on the same spot.
-If O finishes first, then X will get the next turn and it continues like that.

Don't sweat it! This for fun. If the rules aren't understandable. I'll try my best to explain again :)

Leelynn ~ Chelsea
Komal ~ Niraj
Michelle ~ Tripti
Cátia ~ Janessa

✤You all can head over to your respective threads.
✤I will do a coin toss to decide which player gets the first turn.
✤The game-board for each pair will be disclosed on 27th February so you get one day to choose your book and start on it.
✤Book submissions will be valid after the 1st March so even if you start a book, don't finish it before March.
✤You can post any queries HERE

Hope you all enjoy the game!

Cátia Pereira | 25 comments HI everyone :)
I just have one question, after I finish my first book, I have to wait right? so that my "pair" can finish hers.

Komal (komalm) | 6 comments My Tic-Tac-Toe grid has "MPG Thriller". What is this category? Any list where I can find these books?

Any book belonging to Thriller genre will work. MPG stands for Main Page Genre.
