It sucks that the movies have spoiled you, on the other hand, now there are three books to get excited over.

Yeah that's true. I'm not surprised anymore though since I know that the Greek gods often changed shapes to mate with animals.

Yup. Though, to be fair, that's in multiple mythologies (I recall that in Norse mythology, Loki especially, has a couple of... interesting kiddos).

I've noticed that Rick Riordan is reading Irish mythology now. Maybe we'll see that in future :D
Anyways, tomorrow onto book 3?

He is? That would be so cool (I have always been interested in Celtic mythology, and Irish is pretty close I think). It's quite likely he will start another project soon, as he generally publishes two 'big' books a year (and 2019 only has the 4th trials of Apollo books scheduled).
Yes, that's fine. Got through my six chapters of today already (nice thing of audiobooks, you can multitask)

Honestly, I really like the writing style of these books, it has a fun level.

Yay! Well, not really. I read the main series up-to-date, and I had no issues. The only thing I recommend is trying to read the side-story The Sword of Hades (can be found in the Demigod Files or in the paperback edition of the House of Hades (the US edition for whatever reason) before reading the 4th book, the House of Hades. I didn't and I felt like I missed a bit. But that's all. I know that the Kane Chronicles play alongside the story, but it isn't required (at least I didn't notice during my first reading the series).
There is a BR for the first book already (I think it was the 16th of this month?) but I will be rereading the entire Percy Jackon series anyway during the upcoming months.

Well that's him from mythology, not sure if Riordan made any twists to that

That's fine with me, though we're pretty far ahead (looking at the pattern, it's about 3-ish days per book). We're currently at the Battle of the Labyrinth

A book has 20 chapters, we usually read a book in three days (6-6-8) so at this pace we'll start reading the 5th book the day after tomorrow

That's true. Even though I read this at the first December I wouldn't have a problem going back even right now :D

Ikr, it's a massive time-skip. Happens like this with every book and occasionally it's really weird

I know how you feel, like, I'm confused that certain characters aren't mentioned at all, and than I realise they appear in the Olympus series or in future books. Also, wow, you read so fast. It takes me an hour to read about a 100 pages.
