He is? That would be so cool (I have always been interested in Celtic mythology, and Irish is pretty close I think). It's quite likely he will start another project soon, as he generally publishes two 'big' books a year (and 2019 only has the 4th trials of Apollo books scheduled).

Chapter 1 - 6 (view spoiler)[ Somehow I can't stand the cast. Annabeth is gone, which makes me sad because I love her, and Grover is all smitten with the Hunters so yeah, that's that. And Thalia gets on my nerves (doesn't help she gets on Percy's nerves, whose POV it is), and don't get me started on the Hunters. I want to strangle them piece by piece, and I hate Bianca. I mean, I kinda understand her, because she is alone with her baby brother, and suddenly she gets the opportunity to be free. But still, she just completely abandon her 10-year-old brother. Like, girl, I understand your desire to be free, but can't it just, like, wait, for a few years? When Nico is older and more settled in life? The only characters I currently enjoy are Percy, and kinda Nico (I really want to hug Nico). (hide spoiler)]

Chapter 7 - 12 (view spoiler)[ Honestly, the titles never fail to make me giggle. They're so silly (I mean, I would love to be able to grow zombie kittens). It's nice to see Blackjack (I was already confused he wasn't mentioned before), and him talking with Percy (and calling poor Dionysus 'wine dude'. Honestly, same, Blackjack, same).

I like that Thalia has a genuine fear for heights, as a child of Zeus. But that also makes her way less overpowered as being a child of the big three.

And the idea that Apollo disguised himself as a homeless guy was hilarious. It just doesn't fit with, well, him (and the Haiku, well...) (hide spoiler)]

(view spoiler)[ Holy sh*t. I swear, I feel like these six chapters are longer than the first twelve. So much happened. Bianca's disappearance (and most likely death, oh poor Nico), the whole dam scene (I loved how giddy they were for just being able to curse, a little), then there was the showdown with Dr. Thorn and the final battle, in which, for starters, Percy wasn't being the hero per se, and Thalia went in for the kill and Zoë actually dying. Which, surprisingly, had more impact on me this time than the first time around. Maybe because I warmed up to Zoë more than the first time around. She has a good reason to hate men. Talking about a rollercoaster ride. (hide spoiler)]

Percy's acceptance that his mother might find a new husband, Nico, the conclusion that Bianca is actually dead. Nico being a son of Hades, like, wow. I wish I had forgotten everything about this book to just relive that. (hide spoiler)]

(view spoiler)[Awe Grover got a girlfriend and I'm so happy for him :D Also Percy feeling butterflies in his stomach when he hugged Annabeth and she getting jealous because of that mortal girl on chapter 1 is fun as well. Maybe they'll finally hook up :D

And I'm so excited for all the main cast to go on a journey. Feels kinda...right with everyone together.

Yay! Well, not really. I read the main series up-to-date, and I had no issues. The only thing I recommend is trying to read the side-story The Sword of Hades (can be found in the Demigod Files or in the paperback edition of the House of Hades (the US edition for whatever reason) before reading the 4th book, the House of Hades. I didn't and I felt like I missed a bit. But that's all. I know that the Kane Chronicles play alongside the story, but it isn't required (at least I didn't notice during my first reading the series).

There is a BR for the first book already (I think it was the 16th of this month?) but I will be rereading the entire Percy Jackon series anyway during the upcoming months.

I love that all the big characters return, Grover, Annabeth, Tyson and Clarisse. And I like Juniper (and that Grover has a girlfriend, it's cute). The relationship between Annabeth and Percy is dipping into the romance.

Janus is a cool addition, despite him being Roman (is he?) and then Hera. Well... Hera. Can't wait to see Hephaestus though. (hide spoiler)]

I know how you feel, like, I'm confused that certain characters aren't mentioned at all, and than I realise they appear in the Olympus series or in future books. Also, wow, you read so fast. It takes me an hour to read about a 100 pages.
