I'm not sure I 100% understand Luke's motivations. Like was did he already have a propensity to be evil, or did Kronos really play volleyball with his mind? Like clearly Ares had a propen..."
Definitely agree! I think it was an interesting choice to make Luke the (view spoiler) . Gosh damn, I love this series

I'll be starting this tomorrow, and just go until I finish them. I'll also be reading Heroes of Olympus afterwards if anyone's keen? I'm hoping to finish the original series this month, but who knows.
84% (view spoiler) So much is happening in this book!
I'm hoping to finish this one off today, and then tomorrow I'll start Sea of Monsters. I'm reading them all back to back, well on audio.

Finished. Review: I think out of all the times I've read this, this was the time I most enjoyed it. I flew through it, as it was my first time listening to it on audio. I think that's the reason why I loved it. The narrator was just so easy to listen to. The events seemed much more compact, and it was like there was so much action! And all of the action parts stood out to me so much more. I remember it a lot better. There was a crap-ton that happened in this book, I can't believe how much the movie left out (from what I remember anyway). The stone garden, the zoo animals, the pearls, the casino, the Furies, Mrs Dodds, Chiron and Cerberus, meeting the gods, the Love Tunnel. Just a lot of things in my brain right now. I could think of more that happened but I don't want this review to get too long. This time around I will finally get to the rest of them, I promise, as I am listening to them all on audio. Makes it so much easier.

I will probably be starting the second one today, otherwise tomorrow. And no, I won't be reading them all as quickly as the first one, as I had a 2hr car drive where I just listened. Normally it'll take me longer as uni work is insane.

Nox, what buddy reads are is you read the book with someone and then discuss with them, let them know your thoughts. As you can tell through my spoilers at certain parts of the book. So just read through and add your own thoughts throughout the book. The spoiler tag is <.spoiler.> [insert spoiler] < /.spoiler>

Comment before I start though - can we talk about how awesome this cover actually is? Like... I'm a huge fan of the art. LOL.
