Who doesn't love a good road trip?! Over the last year and a half, between vacations and helping friends move, I've put a foot down in just about every state in the Continental United States. I wanted to design a task that challenges participants to visit some new states or take some virtual road or rail trips.
This is a two-book task, and the total number of pages must be no less than 500.
Pick two different options, one book for each.
REQUIRED: State the options you've chosen when posting.
Option 1: Read a book set at least 50% in any U.S. state that you've never visited, i.e. never set your feet on the ground outside. Riding in a vehicle/train without stopping or a layover in an airport doesn't count as a visit. . If you have been to all 50 states, select a state in which you haven't lived.
REQUIRED: State that you have never visited (or lived if you have visited all 50) the state, including the state name. If the location is not clear from the GR metadata, please provide a representative quote or reference.
