What should we read first!?

I have been hearing good things about "The Immortalists". Other suggestions would be:
Middlesex
The Secret History
The Ocean at the End of the Lane
Little Fires Everywhere
The Girls
When Breath Becomes Air
The Goldfinch

What are YOUR ideas?

I've read a few of these. Loved Middlesex and When Breath Becomes Air. Anyway, I'm up for whatever!

I love The Once at the End of the Lane, but as I‘ve already read it, I vote for Little Fires Everywhere.

I think if I had to narrow it down it would be either the Immortalists or Little Fires Everywhere. That being said, I haven’t read any on the list so I’m flexible!

I'm up for any of those! I have Little Fires Everywhere and The Immortalists on my list. Have read Middlesex (though it's been a LONG time) and When Breath Becomes Air (while on baby moon in Maui last Jan, only a medical social worker could pull that off! Marc read it after me and then we switched off on The Empathy Exams. It was the most adorable medical couple kind of baby moon reading material possible) but would be happy to re-read and discuss either/both.
