(view spoiler)[Uhmmmm. Idk. Enne is so unbelievable on minute she's crying and all prissy and whatnot, and then the next minute she doesn't care whether she poisons someone. (Given Sedric is a fucking creep.) I'm not quite sure how I feel about this book yet. Although it is reading really fast. I feel like I just pick it up and pages fly by. I really like the world building in this novel so far though. Overall writing is pretty good too. (hide spoiler)]

I've started reading a few days ago. I just joined this group yesterday and i came across this thread. Felt like the book is pretty slow and intense. A lot of things are happening and there are times i want to put the book down but at the same time i want to continue reading it. We'll see how it goes.

I really don't know if i will continue reading book #2 but we will see. I gave it a 3 stars cause i really don't know if i love or hate the book. It started really slow and i felt it was kinda dark. My motivation was I wanted to catch up on my other readings. hahaha. So i just had to slowly read each time whenever im travelling around or before i sleep. And also cause i have other buddy reads starting soon. So I wanted to read finish before i start on the others. Though it was challenging

Yeah I just gave up, but picked it up again because I was doing a readathon, and didn't have anything else planned, so I picked it up. And also it was a Netgalley so I had to review it. Almost DNFed it but glad I didn't.

I haven't finished a single physical this month yet. But I have read like 8 or 9 audiobooks I think. I'll finish The Burning Maze tomorrow, then move onto the Belles over the weekend, then hopefully I can read Ace of Shades starting next week.
