Michael What differences did you like or dislike?

Laura Herzlos Oh no! Altar sex!
And Tysha! Oh, no, Tysha!

Jeremy It was good and the changes made sense for the show vs. the book. Absolutely loved and thought the Tyrion arc was perfect.

So It was alright. I think back and there were only a few stand out episodes.

I feel like the last half of the book is just incredible and the show splitting up the book into two seasons made sense (even though they added some AFfC stuff).

But yeah Tyrions arc was great and Oberyn was even better in the TV show because he got more screen time than what he offered in the book.

I'm disappointed we didn't get to see Lady Stoneheart. That would have been such an epic end credit scene and now I think they'll probably scrap her story all together.

Brienne versus the Hound was way better than The Hound dying from the wounds he suffered at the bar.

I'm psyched for Season 5. I can't wait to see Dorne and Arianne Martell.

I can't wait to see Dorne as well. As for lady stoneheart the showrunners said she didn't have an impact on the story, and since they know georges endgame I trust them, but I do regret it not being in. It was one of my favorite parts of a storm of swords.

I heard that and, from that point of view, they may be right, even though she impacts Brienne's and Jaime's stories by the end of A Dance With Dragons, but this wouldn't be the first time that they twist the story and bring it out using something else.

Lady Stoneheart seemed to send a message about revenge, when stripped off all humanity. She wasn't merely a zombie who wanted to kill people. But let's see what the show runners come up with.

Jeremy They may not have meant she had no impact on the story as a whole. She may not have been necessary to reveal yet. They would have had to pay the actress for work this season rather than delaying it to later and less episodes it may make sense to wait.

HerodotusMao I was really disappointed with how they handled the white walkers... and really most of Bran's storyline. For a show that is otherwise so visually impressive, the skeleton attack of Bran's party and the magic molotov's would have looked cheesy in a 10-year old video game cut-scene. Harryhausen did a better job over 40 years ago! The big battle at the Wall was also much less impressive than Blackwater, and seemed really rushed.

Still, the Oberyn storyline was excellent, as was the whole of the Trial, so yeah. Disappointing, but so far there is enough good to outweigh the bad. I just had such high hopes up to this point that seeing some stumbling in parts of the storyline that I'm sure are getting ready to become bigger and bigger parts of the show as they get towards the endgame hurt my opinion of the show more than I though it would... Here's to hoping that they can get back on track with S5!

S.L.J. The Nights Watch vs The Wildlings was brilliant.
