The winners for next month are A Wizard of Earthsea by Ursula LeGuin (nice homage to a very respected author) and Altered Carbon by Richard Morgan.

Also our next Mod Special will be finishing off the Shades of Magic trilogy and reading A Conjuring of Light by V.E. Schwab.

I picked up a copy of Altered Carbon this weekend :) I'm also planning to join on A Wizard of Earthsea, though need to pick it up still.

Alas I cannot join on the Shades of Magic book at the moment as I haven't started that series yet.

I'll only be reading Altered Carbon, I couldn't get past the second book in Shades of Magic nor have I ever been able to make it very far into a LeGuin novel.

Oh good, A Conjuring of Light has been sitting on my shelf since the week it came out and remains unread, so this is a good push to get that read. I quite fancy the Earthsea book too, but not sure I'll re-read Altered Carbon, even though it was a very good book.

I may pick up altered carbon... but the radio here has a Very annoying commercial for the series, which had kinda put me off it 🙈 Also, I’m getting married in 3 weeks so I don’t know how much reading time I’ll have... I’ll keep an eye on the discussion thread tho.

I will try and read A wizard of Earthsea and Altered Carbon. I’ve read the Earthsea before but a long time ago and I remember it with nostalgia. I wonder if it will hold up to my memory of it! Altered Carbon I bought recently so I’m good to go..

I've read Earthsea and didn't care much for it. I might try the other two. I've been on the fence about Schwab forever. Oh wait, this is book 3.

Trying to save money, but A Conjuring of Light is available through my audiobook subscription, so I will definitely join in for that discussion. My school's library does not have any LeGuin books...
