Im looking for the title of a book I read in the mid 90's. The book starts with the main character hitting a badger in the road at night with his car. The badger was wearing an enchanted silver chain that changed the apperance of the wearer. Book was set in England and the characters included the Valkarie, the Rhein Daughters (specifically Flosshilde) and one of the mythical god kings, but I cant recall if it was Oden or Zuess. Was along the lines of Science Fiction/Fantasy/comedy. I seem to recall the paper back had a purple cover, with the images of Flosshilde and the god king depicted as a male with a short beard and wearing a derby hat. Thanks
