SOLVED. Book with four short stories, one of them about Casimiro the dormouse. [s]

Hello everyone! I read the book I'm looking for when I was a child. It was a collection of four stories, but I only remember one of them. It was the story of Casimiro the dormouse. The main character was a monster who had no friends. One day he dreams of a peacock that allows him to express a wish. But the peacock also says that this is the only desire that is given to him in his whole life, so he must choose it well. Casimiro wants to become a cute little creature, a dormouse, because he hopes to find some friends. However, if before the others were afraid of him, now they deride him because he is small. Consequently Casimiro sleeps as much as possible hoping to dream again the peacock to express a new desire. My copy of this book had got a yellow hardocover and it was in Italian language
