AWIT: Charles Wallace

Just got Wrinkle today and I’ve finished the first chapter (all by myself!) and my initial impressions are

1) it’s very well written

2) Charles Wallace, the hyperverbal little brother, sounds like Stewie Griffin in my head. I think that might be coloring my mental image of him.

After his meeting with IT, Charles Wallace reminds me of those cute kids from the movie based on The Midwich Cuckoos by John Wyndham

I haven’t gotten to that part yet. He’s clearly telepathic or clairvoyant or something, though, so yeah.

Charles Wallace is Stewie, if Stewie had better role models. ;-)

Charles is my favourite character from AWiT.
