PI's participating -- Break it down in chapter chunks or post one open thread? I'm good either way. And with all Feb. book discussions, this should take us to last of Feb. Worked out fairly well I should think. I should. lol Thanks for making it so.

PugMom (nicoleg76) | 2014 comments I read a bit before bed then got up early and read some more. My husband left early for work so it was just me and doggy for a few quiet hours!!

Oh i do that every morning. Get up early, just me and the dog. Sadly, by early, i mean around 2 or 3. Sleeping in is maybe 4. Get a lot of books read though.

Okay, PI's, as it doesn't matter, I'll cut book into two sections. We'll just figure on spoilers and can note it and post comment or note it and drop down a few lines. Whichever.

Mini spoiler here, PI's -

I see the point made about her poking around a beau's private office and yes, that'd be wrong but I get where Hayley did so at her deceased friend's place to find clues to her murderer. Probably not ethical but in Hayley's mind, she was doing the right thing.

Nicole, I felt that too. I had to get past that in order to enjoy my Valentine's Day gifts. But, I soon got over it. lol

Recipes for cocktail, Alexander, pudding sound good. ;-)

LOL, Tina! Oh, and the chocolate chip cheese ball, too! Re: the murder......is this it? Will we find out there was foul play after all? Did someone cause her to have a heart attack or was it something else? p.s. Cody is slimy.....blech!

Nicole, inquiring minds want to know. ;-) Yeah, Cody is a bit on the creepy side. lol

Off yet on topic...I do prefer hard copy reading but rely on e-reader to sample reads, access out of print titles etc. so, might I say, I like the feel of this book: font, pages, recipes. Just a nice feel to this one.
