It's sad how many people have bad grammar. I mean if it's your second language, then it's understandable. Too many people in the States have poor grammar. :(Did I use all my apostrophes correctly? ;)
Young people especially. I cringe. It's because of all this text talk. Too many people in Canada have bad grammar, too, Beth. Illiterate as well.

Yes but young people are still learning, it's the adults lol....I have a friend online that writes "to much" and I just do not have the heart to tell her it's wrong. She uses your and you're incorrectly too.Lately I have seen some terrible use of the apostrophe.
Good thing is reading does help your spelling and grammar.
Reading does indeed help. It helped me along with my mother and my education.
I don't get why some people are bothered by others using bad grammar. Not everyone is perfect in the areas of grammar and English
