1. I have irrational squeeing urges towards all characters who are even remotely incubus-like, but even I have to admit that Bastien looks like he's going to break Georgiana's trust.
2. Doug is CLEARLY under some sort of immortal influence. I get that Georgie has other things in her mind but you know it's going to come back and bite her in the ass.
3. I can't really figure out why Dana would be a good target to go after, hell-wise. A person who encourages abstinence only sex ed and represses homosexuality would I assume contribute more to hell than heaven. Even if we subscribe to the whole sex is bad theory, repressed people are more likely to fall to sexual urges. Her being a target is impractical in the long run- I can see Bastien himself going after her because of the undoubtedly huge hangups she has over sex, but management financing it? Long term thinking, guys.

I'm enjoying the book. It's nice to have a fun read. :3

I'm cool with shape shifting, but it breaks my believability when shifters start shape shifting their clothes. That's just a hard no.

Georgina and Seth are cute (especially in this book, I must admit I thought they (ie, seth) were pretty meh in book 1) but the real ship I'm rooting for here is Carter/Jerome. They already act like an old married couple.

I like Carter as a character. He's really NOT how I would envision an angel.

He and Jerome remind me of Good Omens: The Nice and Accurate Prophecies of Agnes Nutter, Witch but also Castiel/Crowley in Supernatural haha.

Sorry for the radio silence. Been on vacation. Coming home tomorrow night but got a small chance to check in. :) I'm only half way. There are a few minor plot discrepancies, and without knowing the ending this book already feels like it's going to be pretty predictable, but it's light and fun and I'm really enjoying it.

But it also shows how special their relationship is. He understands her more than anyone, even Bastien the incubi, and she understands his obsessive love of writing. Still... Seth is so precious, he deserves the world! Not being cheated on... (hide spoiler)]

Some random moment I loved in the book: Georgina thinking that playing Scrabble with Seth is pointless, as is playing Monopoly with Jerome.

I always thought playing Monopoly with my siblings was pointless... My sister (the eldest) is a shark when it comes to business. She would set out to 'eliminate the weakest' (aka me, the youngest) immediately. Going soft on her baby sister (5 years younger) was not an option xD
Now I know. She is, in fact, a demon. That also explains how she's able to eat that much without getting fat.

I couldn't wait so I finished (hehe, finished) the last chapter during work. It was hot. Also, agree with you. (view spoiler)[ I had wondered why they hadn't done mutual masturbation earlier. Granted it's not the real thing but it at least moves them a step closer.

Something I don't like about this book, and any book where the protagonist is supposed to be bad (a succubus is not going to be a good guy) is when the author doesn't own it. Yes there was Etienne, but she's been alive for a thousand years. She should have had a million like him. I feel like the role she plays in messing with people's lives/corrupting them is way downplayed. (hide spoiler)]

I'm wondering if that's not where the plot is going. At the end of book 1, Carter said something along the line of: "Even you can be redeemed. Especially you", and now, he's supporting her relationship with Seth and is proud when she does 'the right thing'. Georgina made a pact and went to serve Hell. Could she switch allegiance? I don't really see how she'll manage a long-term relationship with Seth otherwise... (hide spoiler)]

Earlier this year, the mods couldn't create any folders for the threads 'cause the group reached the maximum. So Niki went and re-organized everything. She archived some threads, created a folder just for new releases and another for 1st in series, and moved all the threads in the right folder.
