You have chosen one of my all-time favourite series, so I have to pick Brother Cadfael for you.
Barbara, I'm so sorry for leaving you in suspense so long. It's been a busy week. But I have never heard of the Cruise Ship mysteries. They sound like lots of fun, so I'm picking them for you. Bon voyage!

Yay, Joni!
Finished my first book for March, The Rhyme of the Magpie by Marty Wingate. Sorry that I didn't start this series sooner as I really liked the first one. These are likeable characters, realistic back stories, and pretty well plotted mystery. All in all I give it a thumbs up.

I got side tracked with Ellery Adams, Rhys Bowen, Lynn Cahoon, Kate Carlisle, and others. So this was really great as I had downloaded it to my kindle over a year and a half ago. Not sure which of the two I like better.

I still have book 2 from November to finish....sigh.
Reading two books from the series that's chosen is a goal - not an obligation. Have fun and read what you can. You can always try again the next month.
fyi - The serial challenge threads remain open. If it's older than six months, they are in the archive folder.

I read the first book in August last year. I now have the entire series on my Nook. I will possibly be adding it to the choices for next month's challenge..
Congrats, Hilary and Louise! I decided to work on books from another couple challenges before reading my second one here. Soon!
Finished both books for the month (and in record time for me). The Cruise Ship mysteries are fast, fun reads. I may try to squeeze one more in this month. :-)
Finished my first book for this month, enjoyed it very much and looking forward to reading the next one.
I've finished my second book, Uncertain Terms
. I really like this series, but had to give this one a 3.5* due to what I considered a couple of tstl moments.
Still working on finishing the 5th Wheel of Time doorstopper by Robert Jordan as well as the second Mack's Bar. (yes the latter was the second of my November books) Back to reading.
Finished two for the month:
. Am going to try to finish the last one (so far) in the series prior to the end of the month:
.
