it's about a boy who lives with his abusive dad, his mom who doesn't seem to care, and his younger sister who he really loves. The boy is a teen and is a really bad bully. he wants to run away with his sister so that they could have a better life. he seemingly falls in love with a girl by the end of the story. he also seems to become a better person by the end. I think his name/nickname is Brick, which is possibly in the title too. possibly fiction
