Last week, I requested that this book be unlinked from Paradigm as it is a new edition, fully edited and the old reviews do not reflect the new, revised book. Keenan W. kindly did this and advised I post here if there were any further issues. It seems that someone keeps changing this from the Primary edition so it makes it difficult to find and the author has asked if there is any way to unlink or lock this down as the primary edition. She has had to change it back again. the book is not republished until April 4th but we want any new reviews to be linked to this book and not the old one. Any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated!

New revised editions should be combined with the original/older editions, which they are (now).Currently "The Rising Storm" is the default edition, see edition that shows when looking at the author page: https://www.goodreads.com/author/list...
Only the author (and GR Support) can set the default edition.

Librarians can't change which edition is the default, nor can users. Only the author, and GR support, can set a default edition.

Every user is free to choose which edition they want to review.
This is also not something librarians can help with.
Thanks for your response. I will go back to the author and explain, but not sure who changed the default position then. How can a reviewer choose a book that is no longer available to review? Unless they purchased in 2014 and haven't reviewed yet (I guess lol). My query related to people buying/reading The Rising Storm but putting a review on Paradigm which can no longer be purchased. Thanks for your help. :)
In case someone did separate it already and that was against policy and it got recombined again I think the author has to set the default edition again because that is lost then.(no idea if that was done here but just in case...)
