Sorry you had trouble with the historical names of the kings and royalty.
In later and new editions the books have a glossary and pronunciation guide. You will also discover emotion and intrigue only increasing among very human characters.

Must be selective. I've posted reviews on UK and US, and even one India site (author was Indian) in the past two days. While the ones yesterday took about four hours to be confirmed, the ones for another book today took less than half an hour to be confirmed. So, keep trying. Although, I think if you don't spend the minimum shopping funds on one Amazon zone, you're not allowed to post a review there, period.

Amazon has changed policies again. You are only allowed to post reviews in your country of origin, unless you spend at least $50 in each country that you plan to post reviews. I'm so tired of this giant's games.
This is so weird. I've also spent more than $50 in the US so not sure why I can't post...

Fourth, I just got done reading an article about modernizing your writing. It mentioned how even if truly great writers from one era did something... cough... in the 40s and 50s abrupt scene changes were norm...cough... you should adapt your writing to modern times.
Your review made that article make a lot more sense. I like your idea of a simple location tag.
If I change it, would it be rude to leave a note on your review that you inspired it?

I wouldn’t mind at all if you add the comment! But please also note that I’m your typical commercial-type reader who likes a fast read where my brain can absorb the writing - think Nora Roberts. I’m less literature, more for escapism, so my range across many genres and book influences from the past is limited. In summary, take my feedback lightly, but also note that I’m rarely the one who people take inspiration or advice from because of that, so I feel quite honoured! I’ll post the review on Amazon.com now for you using the link.

Okay - so strange things happening as I went to post the review on the amazon link for The Genocide Game. Every time I try to post the review it states “To submit reviews, customers must make a minimum amount of valid or credit card purchases etc...” and it won’t let me post. I’ve only spent about fifteen dollars on there as I’m based in the UK so I use the UK site, but it let me post the other three reviews I did in the group on that same account?!? Not sure if they’re clamping down or it’s just me ... Sorry Darrell. I even tried purchasing it to see if that would let me post one, but all it kept forcing me to the UK store. I’ll try again on my PC tomorrow see if using the HTML site works.I’ll keep you posted.

Hi Katie, as discussed before (either here or other rounds) you may opt to post on Kobo, Smashwords, Barnes and Noble, etc. We moderators are discussing what to do next for future review rounds. We're thinking we set up a list of five book sales sites, and then anyone can pick three of five, with Goodreads being the mandatory one.
