This book was about a girl who moved to a different area after experiencing a high school shooting committed by her brother. She was placed into witness protection and moved to a different area, but there’s tension now that her brother is known to be looking for her again. It’s suggested throughout the book that the narrator (her) isn’t entirely honest about the situation. I’m pretty sure her witness protection last name was Black, if that helps! It would also probably be under young adult fiction, but I’d look wherever at this point. Thanks for the help!
