Is it okay to use the same pair of digits for each year, such as 1900, 1911, 1922 etc.? If so, would that pattern qualify for all four finishers bonuses? I have it listed on the Plan thread but want to make sure before I start filling in books.

Glad you like it.
To answer your questions, yes and yes.

Thanks, Kate. Using the same digits will be less taxing to my poor feeble brain. And no restriction on repeating an author?

Thank you again, just wanted to make sure.

Thanks. It was a fun challenge to build upon. The bones gave us a lot of freedom to promote a more personal experience.

Zero is after 9 or before 1. To read "in order" you don't have to start at either end. You could start with some other number and go "around the horn" if you wish.
4, 5, 6, 7, 8. 9. 0, 1, 2, 3 OR
8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1, 0, 9
as examples

ok, good. Thanks for the speedy answer (I was on tenterhooks!). I thought that was the case, but as always when planning the sub-challenge I mix myself up.

And despite what appears to be an easy and straight forward challenge, this one is an easy one to get mixed up on.
I wanted to do both decades and years and found I was duplicating one or the other. I made myself a 10 x 10 grid on a spreadsheet to check myself. AND, I wasn't good enough to be able to get titles with *both* years and decades in order. I'll read one of them in order, but not both, and haven't decided yet on which one.

Oh yes.... It took 4 tries just to get the numbers right! (never mind any books planned). I tried to to the 'around the horn' but I just couldn't get my head around it.

I'm happy to help:)
I've taken a look at book choices and now the problem is, I like them both! Decisions, decisions...

Me too! I'm sure I didn't think of anything quite this fiendish, though. That must have been your input, Kazen :)

It is the year that shows as the original pub year on GR. Are they recently published stories, or are they oldies?

On the Job: Fiction about Work by Contemporary American Writers by William O'Rourke
I'll have to check each story to know for sure about the original publication date.

Don't worrry about it on this one. The other authors aren't named on the GR record and it's unlikely anyone will change it. Go ahead and use 1977 for this.

Great, thank you.

At BPL, it is filed as "tce" and I don't know what that means. Can I use this book for the RtD subchallenge? Thanks.

Yes. "Windsor Tce" is the branch of BPL where that book is shelved. There is no YA/Juv designation, so you're good for RtD.
