Team B for Beaters - Reporting
I finished Survive the Night. I read it for Romance on Card 1. It would also work for "Animal on the Cover" and "book by female author" on Card 1 and MC is a police officer on Card 2.
I read Alice for Horror genre.Could also work for: proper name in title, first book in series, and female author.
Finished Vampire Academy, for Title begins with V.Could also work for YA, Vampire, and made in to a movie
Finished A Tiger's Tale. This fits for Card 2, trees on cover. Could also fit Card 3, tiger on cover.
Updated to here. I've put Jmom's read for card two into the spreadsheet, but remember we can't count any points for card two UNTIL we finish card one. So they don't go towards our total as yet. But once we finish card one, we already are on the board.
I finished The Girls of Atomic City: The Untold Story of the Women Who Helped Win World War II for Set during a war on card 1
Finished Tender with a Twist for card 2, person wearing a hat. Could also work for Set in US, Free Space, and Published 2017/18.
Hey Jmom, did you see my question on the other thread? Can this work for another square on card two on a column or row you've already opened up?
I edited my post 15. Will also work for Set in US which will fit in same column but that Z title might be hard. Didn't Casceil say she was reading food on cover? If Laura takes animal perspective, my book would still be good for hat.
Yup, but as you've already read trees on the cover, I'm trying to get all our books into a column or row. Could trees on the cover work for something else? Set in the US?
I finished The Coffin Path
for vampires, werewolves or ghosts. It will also work for female author and horror on Card 1.
I finished The Sweet Taste of Murder
for food on the cover. It would also work for set in the US, or mystery.
I am finished The Veiled One for police procedural. It could also work for female author or Starts with V. Tomorrow on the way to work, I will finish Winter which I read for 1 word title but could also do female author or second in a series.
Finished
for Free Space or Female author on Card 1 or may also go for Trees on Cover and Witches/Wizards on Card 2 and
The Demon's Librarian for MC has a job you'd like on Card 1
I finished two books:Zero at the Bone - It works for Title starts with Z, and Set in the US
The Gentleman's Captain - Is there a square for mind numbingly boring? It works for Standalone, Historical fiction, and Set in England.
I finished The Dumb House
for the male author task. It will also work for horror and animal on the cover on Card 1.
Lisa wrote: "I finished The Dumb House

Mmm, and I? What task shoul I read?
Rusalka, I had updated in your absence, and we have the Dumb House on Card one as read twice. Should I delete it from the male author square, or should I just stay out the chart and let you do you everything so we don't get confused?
I finished Cold Poison for mystery on Card 2. Would also qualify for set in the US or set in the 1900's.
can also be used forCard 1 : Male author
Card 2 : Mystery, Person with hat on cover, Set in England, Classic
Card 3 : Person with gun on cover, release date before 2000,
Casceil wrote: "Rusalka, I had updated in your absence, and we have the Dumb House on Card one as read twice. *Edit - Rusalka has updated the spreadsheet so you don't need to worry.*
Rusalka wrote: "Done to here :D"You missed my one word title: Winter
Also, I am now done with family drama: House of Names
Will start my non-fiction on the way home.
I have finished another mystery, The Bitter Taste of Betrayal. On its own, the square it fits best is mystery, though it would also fit food on the cover. But if we stick "Bitter Taste of Betrayal" into the mystery slot instead of Cold Poison, Cold Poison can be used for either "Set in the US" or "Set in the 1900's."

Sorry, I saw you said you had nearly finished, but not that you had. Updated.
I finishedA Most Peculiar Malaysian Murder For Author who starts with an FCould fit female author, mystery, proper name, first in series, Police procedural

Thank you, Rusalka. I have finished another one, Murder at Turtle Cove
, for beach setting on Card Two. I figure I can read at least one more book, maybe two. It looks like Witches and Wizards is still open, so I will look for something for that next.
I finished A Fashionable Indulgence for Set in England. Could also work for Historical fiction if needed.
