rhett and link book of mythicality

I am doing my book review on The Book Of Mythicality, it is a book about the lives of two youtubers that are best friends. It tells about how they met in first grade and ever since they have been best friends. Ever since they have made youtube videos together.

This story Is told from a first person point of view because, it is a biography about the lives of Link Neal and Rhett Mclaughlin.This point of view helps the author because it is about their lives so they know the most about it and they can get all of the small details right. Rhett and Link (the authors) chose this POV because the story is about their lives so it wouldn't make sense to tell it in any other point of view. This point of view allows the author to kind of get more personal in telling the story. Because they chose first person POV the reader cannot get other people's point of views, or maybe how they felt when everything was going down. Readers can trust the narrator because it is just they basically telling stories about their life, for example on page Link says, “ when i was younger my mother made all of my hair choice, and she chose the bull cut.” We can tell it is first person because he talks about when he was younger and his mother.Another example they talk about when they were in third grade and wanted to make a time capsule, Link says”I figured that my GI joe figure doc would be the best one to put in since there is no need for medical attention on my pretend battlefield since there was no blood.” As the evidence shows this is a story told in first person point of view.

Id like to focus on Link Neal one of the best friends. Link is about 6 feet tall which looks very short compared to his 6’7 best friend Rhett. Id say link is more of a static character because he starts out telling his life story when he was just 6 or 7 in first grade and basically his whole entire life his main objective was to make people laugh. And even through his college years he just wanted to make people laugh, that's even how he met his wife and how he convinced her to marry him. You can see this when says “Since the time I was in first grade i was determined to make people laugh.” As you can see, Link is a static character we know this because of how his whole life he just wanted to make people laugh his whole life.

My opinion on the book is i think it is a very good book, i have been watching their you tube channel since they had about 10,000 subscribers and now they have 13,003,931 subscribers. So i have been watching them for quite some time now so i really like them but if you were going to read the book i would recommend watching a few of their you tube videos just to get to see what they are like. I would recommend this book to everyone because its just a really fun book to read and anyone would like it.
