Help separating authors with the same name

I'm trying to help out a friend - but this is a little beyond me.

They are the author of this book: https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/3...

And that book only.

But another author with her name 'Kate McMahon' is already on Goodreads (they did not previously have anything on their author-page, just a list of their books)

I added her bio & photo etc, but now it's given her all of the other Kate McMahon books.

I've tried to 'disambiguise' but can't wrap my head around it. I even tried adjusting her name to 'Kate Mc Mahon' but now they think both authors are called that and my brain is sludge at this point.

So if anybody wants to be a rad Librarian (are there any other kinds?!)

There are X2 Kate McMahon's.

My friend is the author of 'Ocean Rules: The Bikini Collective' - and she's the one who has a bio, and lovely photo (in a blue off-the-shoulder)

The other Kate McMahon just needs to go back to having their list of titles and no author info.

Perhaps you can add their middle names and this would create two separate profiles.

also fixed title to meet GR rules...
