Don't know how well it fits the bill as I've just come across it myself, but the description seems to tell a story of a Munchie maniac:Poisoned Blood: A True Story of Murder, Passion, and an Astonishing Hoax

Gonna check it out for myself sometime soon. Hope it's fitting enough for y'all!
My favorite book on this subject by far is A Mother's Trial. It's grim reading. Sickened: The Memoir of a Munchausen by Proxy Childhood is also very good and it's told 100% from the victim's perspective.
