Pop-Up Window Won't Go Away

This isn't very discussion-y, but every time I comment, the group rules pop up which is fine, and good to be reminded of, but they won't go away, even after I post the comment. And it just sticks to my comment so I can't read over it and make sure there aren't any miss-typos or anything. The only way I can get it to leave is to reload the page and that's kind of a pain. Is there a trick or something to getting rid of it once the comment is posted?

I actually have the same problem, with another group. And this one but the other one is much bigger. But sadly I don't know how to make either one go away or not pop up.

This happens to me occasionally. The only way I've found to get around it is to reload the page. :-(

It appears next to my comment box so don’t have that problem. Maybe it’s a browser thing?
Maybe it’s some setting the mod can change?

Ik how to fix it! You have to be a mod. Then you click the settings or something and there’s a button that say like “rules go away after first post” and click that. If that didn’t make any sense maybe someone could temporarily make me a mod and I would fix it and then become a not mod.

I never get that, only in this group (so as Nova explained it's a group setting that can only be changed by mods) and in my browser it only appears next to the comment box, never over it, so it never bothers me (probably a browser thing).

Yeah. I just wish there were a way to do it without reloading because sometimes the computer is slow about it and I don't feel like reading my comment is THAT important, you know? :P (first world problems lol)

Well I use Firefox (updated vers.). What do you use? I should try Chrome.

Also if it's a mod problem, couldn't they fix it for everyone? Like go to the settings for the whole group and fix it there? Or is it individual post settings?

I have Chrome. I have it happening in other groups. The Group Rules pops up while the mouse is in the comment box and sometimes fails to go away.

Yes they can fix the message not appearing anymore after the first post (like Nova explained).
They probably cannot fix it appearing over your comment seeing that that doesn’t seem to be a GR thing (otherwise everybody would experience the same problem). But that wouldn’t be a problem if it were to happen to your first comment only.
I use Safari.

I have noticed it pops up only when you roll over the comment box and sometimes it doesn't pop up when there's text. I think maybe the trick is to just avoid the comment box? And I'll try using a different browser.
