That is not the problem. I've rarely bought anything on Amazon (only Author copies of my book) and I haven't spent $50 yet. I can't review the other three books on any Amazon site. Even Dale Rutter's, which I have a purchased (free) copy. I even tried the "Write a product review" tab on the my "Digital Orders" page.

Here's my review for round 3.

For some reason I couldn't locate the book to leave my review on either Amazon US or UK. Maybe the author has deleted it?

William Collins (willcollins) | 179 comments Oh, it's appeared to be back on Amazon now. Here's the links to my reviews

Thank you.

E.M. Swift-Hook | 3487 comments Thanks, William, I am guessing you run accounts on both Zon UK and US as you seem able to post to both? If not, what is your secret?

message 105: by Scott (new)

Scott Spotson (scottspotson) If I may jump in even though I'm not a reviewer for this round: (I just experimented for the Genre Specific Review Groups today, where I am a reviewer):

It does seem that you can post on any Amazon site where you have at least spent money. I don't remember how much I spent, but I did, for each.

India, US, UK... I spent there in the past to deliver my paperbacks to reviewers. i.e. Goodreads Giveaways. Was able to post on all today. Got confirmations back today.

Tried an Amazon zone where I have never spent money. Netherlands. I was able to type up the review, but when I clicked on post, the error message came up:

Er is iets misgegaan. Dien je recensie opnieuw in.

It means in English,

Something went wrong. Submit your review again.

My conclusion: the current status is:

If you spent money on an Amazon zone, you can post a review there. If you have not, you cannot.

William Collins (willcollins) | 179 comments Yep, I think Scott's correct.

E.M. Swift-Hook | 3487 comments Thanks for the review Stjepan - so glad you enjoyed it :)

There are still a few outstanding reviews. I have not heard anything from Grady at all to explain the absence of his reviews and have tried to contact him again today.

The official close of this round is 7 May, if you are not going to complete your reviews by then please do let me know.

I like your book :) I little late because of other commitments, but I think I'll manage to complete the second review under 7 May :)

Grady Brown | 40 comments A Darker Shade of Sorcery: "I enjoyed this read. The beginning was a bit slow, but it had a well-developed plot that was easy to enjoy."

Absence of Color: "Despite some dark elements, this was a fun story to read. It possesses some of the basic aspects of a fantasy quest yet it takes it on a unique direction. Even though it slightly deviates from classic fantasy, I think it would still entertain fans of traditional fantasy. PLEASE READ THIS BOOK!!!"

Genesis: "This was a very enjoyable and unexpected story. In some ways, it reminds me of other dystopian stories in which a fascist organization enforces the lives of its citizens. For example, I did notice some similarities to the film Equilibrium. Overall, I would recommend this story to anyone who likes a dystopian world and how a status quo can be changed."

Godeena: "The author’s writing style was very enjoyable. I could visualize the settings, weapons, and characters. The plot is fast-paced and is a serious page-turner. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who is seeking a good science fiction thriller."

E.M. Swift-Hook | 3487 comments I think you have mis-understood what the group requires, Grady. the idea is to post the links to your reviews (as is explained in the post that starts the round), not the reviews themselves, so that there is proof to everyone that you have fulfilled your commitment to the group.

However, this time I have done the research and found all the links for you, to confirm you have indeed posted the reviews and so that I am able to sign you off for the round.

Thanks for participating :)

E.M. Swift-Hook | 3487 comments The round reaches it's official end today - still no word from Natalie and Sophia has one book outstanding. I shall PM them both and if there is no response those affected will need to go to the one for one for a free entry for their book to get the last review.

message 119: by William (new)

William Collins (willcollins) | 179 comments I think Sohpia was my round 4? Should I go to the one for one now?

message 120: by E.M. (new)

E.M. Swift-Hook | 3487 comments I have heard back from Sophia with her apologies for being late and a commitment to post a review today or tomorrow. Please be patient William, I will let you know when we have to progress to that stage :)

message 121: by William (new)

William Collins (willcollins) | 179 comments Okay cool, no worries. Thank you.

message 122: by James (new)

James Maxstadt | 120 comments Hi E.M.,

The last review I had coming was from Natalie. Any word, or should I go ahead and post it over in the one for one?

Thanks.

message 123: by William (new)

William Collins (willcollins) | 179 comments Same question E.M? I sent you a message too. Although I know they can easily get lost amongst all the messages goodreads groups send our inboxes.

message 124: by E.M. (last edited May 21, 2018 06:58AM) (new)

E.M. Swift-Hook | 3487 comments Sorry for the delay in response, Will. I am now officially closing up this round two weeks late.

If you are still owed any reviews please do go to the one-for-one thread and explain you are owed a review from round 175.

Thanks for your patience if you have been waiting and many thanks to all those who completed their commitment to this round!
