ABANDONED. YA: Girl gets in wrong car

There is very little I remember about this book. All I really remember is there is a girl, she's probably not very happy because those are the books I always seem to read. She goes to a Walmart or the mall or something like that and when she comes back out, she gets into a car but the key won't work in the ignition. Then a guy comes and tells her she's in the wrong car and that there are keys that work to unlock the same kind of car, but they don't work in the ignition.

I've been worrying over this book for a year or more. I read it probably between 2008ish and 2012, but it could've been earlier than that. It seemed like it was set in modern times. Probably 90's to now. I honestly couldn't tell you any more about the book.
