Brian Keller | 17 comments Third-born child duped into destroying an entire species. (Can't get spoiler to apply).

Cheryl (cherylllr) Brian, (view spoiler)?

This sounded familiar, but I gave up and looked at your answer. Not what I was struggling to recall, but good one!

Superior sentient's brooding is constantly interrupted by humanoid shenanigans. It's annoying.

I just realized, this could very well be (view spoiler), but that's not what I was thinking about! :D

Anna (vegfic) | 10435 comments Ines, that's (view spoiler)

Half a minute after sending the post I realized it would be a perfect description, yes! :D But that's not what I was thinking about. Also - that would be a pretty well explained plot, I was trying to explain the plot of another book poorly.

Anna (vegfic) | 10435 comments Haha, fine! :P I still think that's who you meant :D

I'm pretty sure that was my brain shamelessly bringing my neverending love for AIs who hate humans to the forefront.

message 60: by Anna (new)

Anna (vegfic) | 10435 comments I'll allow it! ^_^

message 61: by Brian (new)

Brian Keller | 17 comments Cheryl, yes. Easy enough but unless someone's read it, the movie might have made it that clear that the main character was duped.

message 62: by Cheryl (new)

Cheryl (cherylllr) Thanks, Brian. I only read it.

message 63: by Cheryl (new)

Cheryl (cherylllr) So, Ines, that sounds like a story about (view spoiler)

"Poorly explained" is key of course... hmm....

Cheryl, no, it isn't that book, but it sounds amazing and I'll put it on my TBR!
But you are right, there are, in fact, two huge computers in this story, although both "huge" in very different ways.

I was initially thinking about (view spoiler), before I realized there would probably be fifty books out there that fit the description.

I've got another one:

Old man, bad at choosing an alias, is running from being rich, but only half-assed.

message 66: by Phillip (new)

Phillip Murrell | 604 comments A guy's brother-in-law eats his father before he can, which really burns him up.

Maybe a super easy one, but it was too strange a sentence to pass up

I'm gonna be honest... I instantly thought "Twilight" on this one. (Though I admit that going "vampire vegetarian" is probably a stretch to claim "saving the world". :P)

Hey, that's so easy even I got it! Thank you!

Emmett (emmett13) | 154 comments A guy touches a yucky pig and has to leave town. He meets a lady with a serious hat who is very angry about the annoying dogs that keep trying to eat her friends. He meets another lady that lives with the annoying dogs. They go on a first date where he falls asleep and she spits beef jerky into his mouth to wake him up.
