Amy | 12953 comments I heard someone recently wax euphoric once about the mental tension and dynamic between pitcher and batter. I think it even crossed my path this afternoon. Who says baseball is all about the data? I hear there’s more to it that really makes it come alive....

I tend tonuse this system you use. It is rather easy to remember. It gives me a starting place.

I read different types of books, so the rating system works differently. How I rate literature v history v sociology are all different as I have different expectations. Even books that fall within the group sociology will have two divisions in my imagination--more serious sociology with some graphs and charts and demograghics v popular social commentary based on some genalizations and some references appropriate to the book.

I was once long ago surprised when a man I was dating said that I was complicated. Now I just own it.
