One Cup Of Flour Two Cups Of Murder

Pages:126 p. Date read:28/1/2018 Rating:3 stars

Thank you! But don’t worry if you can’t. I just post what I read:-)

Shifting Shadows - hated
Wedded to the Warriors - 1-star
I also found some fairly popular books to fill in some other missing shelves, but though I actually own all three, I'm not sure I can get to them (if anyone has any interest, go for it)
Harry Potter and the Cursed Child - Parts One and Two - 3-stars
City of Bones - 4-stars
Switched - nook

Unfortunately, I dont think I will be able to get to The Good Earth😕 by the end of the readathon.

I will be finishing Dark Places tonight,
Starvation Heights: A True Story of Murder and Malice in the Woods of the Pacific Northwest tomorrow, and Milk and Honey on Sunday before wrap up. Nothing like the last minute, lol

We have until tomorrow at noon (Eastern time) correct? Debating if I want to commit to another book!

Yes , Emily. I was thinking the same thing. I'm cuddled up here reading away and wondering how much I can get done, lol.
I'm going to take on Simon vs. the Homo Sapiens Agenda.. it fits TBR and Reviewed (just looking at the list of prompts we have left)

Awesome. Good luck! And thanks for checking the shelves :-)

I put Case Histories under 2017. UK isn't a shelf we are working with, it has to be United-Kingdom. I'm looking to see where we can put Silas Marner, I will probably put it under currently -reading, since the shelves for one of Debras books have disappeared?
EDIT: I put Silas Marnar under 2016.....I think we're good with Debras book, maybe a glitch on the page.

I put out a question for the mods in the main ATY Book Shelf Challenge thread. Not sure what happened there.
Good job reading. I'm going to hit the books for a little while now I have about 100 pages of my second book to read. Will update later on tonight.

I loved that book :-)"
I enjoyed the book but in some parts it seemed to fall flat for me. I can't seem to put a reason for that but overall it was a good book.

you go girl!

It helps when the husband's at work and I'm all caught up on my grading!
(That's a lie. I am not anywhere near caught up. But if I keep telling myself that I am, maybe the guilt of spending all day reading will go away?)

OMG I have a mile high pile of papers on my desk to grade....
Actually, I DID grade them on Monday, but that was the day I finally went to the ER. I was sitting at my desk thinking I WILL GET THESE GRADES IN BEFORE I DIE, lol. and i piled up all the graded papers for the students to collect when I went home....got to work wednesday and none of the grades had saved. So I had to collect everything back and now the whole pile is back on my desk waiting to be re-entered :-(
I'm alternating between chapters of this god awful book I'm slowly finishing, and hanging out with the kiddos. I have less than 100 pages left.

That's the stuff of nightmares! I've graded most of their big assignments, but it's the small little ones that have been getting to me..
That being said, I may try to tackle another book today, since Simon obviously went quicker than expected and I can't count student essays towards this Read-A-Thon!

You deserve the rest! 4 books in a week is no easy feat!

I'm picking up Murder on the Orient Express and I should be able to finish it by noon tomorrow. It doesn't fit any of the available shelves that we haven't used yet, but it fits quite a few that we have used, so you may need to shuffle a bit, if that's possible.

Not sure I will get another book finished by tomorrow. Had to deal with my son and his school this week and it didn't really put me in the mood to read!

I agree Jody....well done 😊

You did Amazing Kathy.... no worries if you can't fit another one in.

Haha I know, but I still feel bad for all of the work you've had to do!
