Very fast read, and very enjoyable. But have kleenex handy!

Katie | 2360 comments IT IS AMAZING. And yeah, I got into it & got through it pretty quickly. And then you can participate in the Book of the Month.

message 103: by Marina (new)

Marina | 1312 comments The list is updated in both post 11 and 70. Please check if everything looks right. We have finished 25 books so far, that's impressive!
There are four books I haven't added to the list yet but I'll do that tomorrow. Now I need some sleep 😁

Hilde (hilded) | 821 comments Perfect, thank you all! :) Looks like the hype is well deserved for The Hate U Give, really looking forward to it now. Will have my kleenex ready!

I will add the possible shelves for it in excel tomorrow.

Joan Barnett | 1972 comments I'm almost done Ashley's War. This week got to be horrible at work. I haven't read as much as I thought I would.

I have no clue what I'll pick next, but I'm in an all day meeting at work today, so no audiobooks while I work, unfortunately.

It ends Sunday 11:59 AM (EST).
I can put you on the list tomorrow for that one and check where your other books fit. We can always make chances if there's problems fitting in a book 😊

message 120: by Heather (new)

Heather | 236 comments Side Effects May Vary is an audiobook and I got it from the library.

message 121: by Helen (new)

Helen (helenlizm) | 39 comments Right - Heart Shaped Box all done and dusted now so that's the ghost story shelf ticked off. Will check what we're still missing and decide on my next book.

message 122: by Rachelnyc (new)

Rachelnyc | 943 comments I finished Fahrenheit 451 and will start Maybe In Another Life this evening.

If I have time, I will then read The Vacationers for the Spain shelf.

message 123: by Zaz (new)

Zaz | 2969 comments I’m making progress with my current reads but nothing new finished so far.

message 124: by Helen (new)

Helen (helenlizm) | 39 comments Okay - next stop is Australia with The Light Between Oceans. And the poetry shelf with Einstein's Cat. Should get both these done before the read-a-thon ends.

message 125: by Amanda (new)

Amanda I'm starting The Hunger Games tonight! It hits the loved category. I've updated the sheet.

message 126: by Helen (new)

Helen (helenlizm) | 39 comments Einstein's Cat all read - a tiny 32 page poetry book with full page illustrations for each poem! Have updated the spreadsheet.

message 127: by Katie (new)

Katie | 2360 comments The books must be at least 125 pages to count toward the shelves. Sounds like a lovely little book though. I might have to check that out.

message 128: by Katie (last edited Feb 02, 2018 06:37AM) (new)

Katie | 2360 comments I just finished The Twilight Wife. Something about thrillers makes me tear through them.

message 129: by Joan (last edited Feb 01, 2018 08:45PM) (new)

Joan Barnett | 1972 comments I completed Ashley's War. I finally made some reading progress tonight. And it was a good non-fiction book if anyone is looking for suggestions!!

message 130: by Helen (new)

Helen (helenlizm) | 39 comments Katie - you're right! Yes, 32 pages is too short.
I'll plough through Light Between Oceans and see if I can fit in a longer poetry book.

message 131: by Marina (new)

Marina | 1312 comments Heather wrote: "I can read 1984 by George Orwell for the DNF.

I just checked and did-not-finish isn't one of the top 100 shelves for 1984. I'm sure we can fit it in anyway, so just let me know if you finish this book and if you finish other books.

message 132: by Marina (new)

Marina | 1312 comments The list us update and I think I've all your books on it but you're welcome to check. There's a lof of books to keep hold of now... 35 shelves taken care of 👍

message 133: by Heather (new)

Heather | 236 comments Will Side Effects May Vary fit for audiobook? If not let me know what will because I can finish one of those quick

message 134: by Marina (new)

Marina | 1312 comments Heather wrote: "Will Side Effects May Vary fit for audiobook? If not let me know what will because I can finish one of those quick"

That's a match... I'll put you on the list right away so just let me know when you're finished 😊

message 135: by Heather (new)

Heather | 236 comments I will finish it this morning probably and what’s on the top 100 shelf for kindle or 2017?

message 136: by Marina (new)

Marina | 1312 comments Heather wrote: "I will finish it this morning probably and what’s on the top 100 shelf for kindle or 2017?"

Were you reading Under the lights? It has kindle as a top 100 shelf

message 137: by Heather (new)

Heather | 236 comments Yes I’m reading it too and I have about 250 pages left of it and 100 pages left in Side Effects May Vary

message 138: by Zaz (new)

Zaz | 2969 comments I finished Dragons of Autumn Twilight. It can fit several shelves, so you can decide which one to use Marina :)

message 139: by Katie (last edited Feb 02, 2018 06:40AM) (new)

Katie | 2360 comments I'm reading Inferior: How Science Got Women Wrong—and the New Research That's Rewriting the Story.

Mostly generic shelves, so hopefully we can fit it somewhere. Again, if someone can add it to the spreadsheet for me, that would be awesome! Thanks.

Rachelnyc | 943 comments Great work everyone and special thanks to our fearless leader Marina!

Thanks to latte induced insomnia I got about half-way through Maybe in Another Life so I should definitely finish that tonight and squeeze in The Vacationers before the challenge ends.

Happy Reading!

I didn't finish Shawshank Redemption last night but I definitely shouldn't have an issue finishing it today.

I'm still deciding which book to read next. I have a bunch that came available at the library but I'm a little wary of starting a full length book and finishing it in time. I'll decide later today though.

Great work, team!

message 142: by MKay (new)

MKay | 55 comments Finished Losing Leah last night. Now to try for something short to be finished in time. Any suggestions, anyone??

Rachelnyc | 943 comments MKay wrote: "Finished Losing Leah last night. Now to try for something short to be finished in time. Any suggestions, anyone??"

I found this Listopia for books under 200 pages which has some great options https://www.goodreads.com/list/show/1...

If you haven't read Breakfast at Tiffany's, I'd definitely recommend that.

message 144: by Marina (new)

Marina | 1312 comments I finished both Black Coffee and We have always lived in the castle today, so now I'm going to try and find one or two shorter books to read the last days.

The list is update 😊

I found a collection of Emily Dickinson's poems that is around 200 pages. If I finish the Hunger Games today (fingers crossed), I'll start reading it.

message 147: by Zaz (new)

Zaz | 2969 comments I finished my audiobook The Hero of Ages. I filled the spreadsheet, there are many possibilities for it :)

message 148: by Amanda (new)

Amanda Finished Hunger Games! (I might have ignored the work piled up on my desk this afternoon).

I'll start Dickinson: Poems tonight!

message 149: by Helen (new)

Helen (helenlizm) | 39 comments The Light Between Oceans is finished so Australia can be marked off. Will check in the morning what is still outstanding and try and get another book in.

I just finished The Shawshank Redemption. I'm not sure which shelf we want to use it for.

Now I'm off to look for a short book to start next :)

ETA: I'm going to go ahead and start Never Never: Part Two. I've added it to the spreadsheet. Since it's now the weekend for me and my husband works tomorrow, I'm hoping I manage to finish that one, along with The Ocean at the End of the Lane.
