Aram Bladen (mrsbladen) Hello everyone!

This is my first time being in a book club, so I don't know how things work in here. I do have a general idea of how things are in a real live book club (to which I've never been in), so I was wondering if it's the same in here too?

I mostly read fantasy and fiction books; I love the magic, dungeons, dragons and all. I am open to more different genres, yet I'm still having difficulty with biographies.

I'd like to know about your favourite books and we could swap with each other!

So, it's nice to be meeting you all!

I've been a part of a YA book club that fizzled out, though my interest in the YA books we were choosing each month was waning because I was getting farther and farther away from YA. But we did last for a couple years before going our own ways. I still keep in touch with a few of them on facebook who have moved. We connected more as a group than a book club because we were close in age (at the time in our mid to late twenties, a couple were middle-aged).

I am planning on eventually putting together an fantasy themed book club because I read mostly fantasy (adult mostly, but I also enjoy middle grade fantasy). I'm not that into YA fantasy because more and more it seems to gravitate on the romance and not the fantasy world and action. I'm touch and go when it comes to romance. I'm okay with romance if it isn't the central theme.
