Books of 2018 to look forward to

There are so many great book to look forward to in 2018. I listed a few, but there are so many to choose from. What are some books you are most anticipating?

I am looking forward to Meg Wolitzer's new book The Female Persuasion, which you already have listed.

I am also interested in A False Report: A True Story of Rape in America by T. Christian Miller and Ken Armstrong, which is slated for a February 6th release.

I'm eagerly awaiting The Crooked Staircase, book three in Dean Koontz's Jane Hawk series. Jane's a resourceful and relentless female character who's caught up in a lethal battle with vicious and powerful people. Another book I'm looking forward to is The Cutting Edge, the latest in the Lincoln Rhyme series by Jeffery Deaver.

I have a friend that we share similar interests and he is a big fan of Dean Koontz. I need to read one of his books soon. Anyone have an idea of which should be my first one?

I particularly like the Jane Hawk series. It is unlike his others and is more topical. I got hooked on Dean Koontz through his stand-alone novel, Watchers--a golden retriever figures prominently in the story and I had a golden at the time. To read Dean Koontz, you need to be okay with the "what if" approach to writing novels.

Eric Larson and Hampton Sides are supposed to be working on a new books. I look forward to their new writings

If you enjoy that one she has a new memoir coming out in May titled Life after Darkness that focuses on her life after liberation. I think the two books together would be a powerful read.

My latest book that I hope everyone will read is the Great Alone by Kristin Hannah. It involves a returning VietNam vet who was a prisoner of war who moves his family to a remote area of Alaska and the things he and his family must endure. I couldn't put it down. If you liked the Nightingale you should like this book.
