Michael made a difference to many already in his lifetime, even to those he didn't know! His journey will continue to inspire and be a form of help against the drug problem we face. The book itself will make a great gift for someone who is struggling, especially with drug addiction as Michael tells of how he spent his life living in places familiar, especially to all of us here on the East Coast, particularly in and near Bucks County, Pennsylvania. From Northern Pennsylvania, down to the Florida Keys, Michael G's run in'-s with danger, toils and risks, led him to dodge death more than once along the addicted roads he travelled and brought him to live through his miraculous and inspiring life of determination, giving and good will.
Here's a few excerpts from One road in. One road out.:
"I had loaned Stephanie’s car out to the dealer and it never came back. I was just sitting in a crack house smoking crack and the car never came back. I knew I was in trouble."
"Next thing I knew, I’m lying in the road on Interstate 95 and I remember turning my head over to look at the car."
"Business increased every month after new clients were coming into the gym and mine and my trainer’s spirits were being lifted because we could actually see it all happening!"
"Everybody’s equal in my opinion and maybe that’s why I have the need to help millions of people throughout this world."
- Michael Giacapuzzi
Okay Michael, let's help millions!!

Bolivar Beato (bolivarbeato) | 7 comments Hello Josh,

Just signed up to your site (shrimp are indeed on a diabolical quest to take over the world...)

I am looking for a review for my fantasy novel Pangaea; the Sunslinger Pangaea; the Sunslinger. Looking to see if you are interested.

Lyonesse exists a lawless city under constant siege by malicious crime lords. It is a nexus point between Pangaea’s underworld and its elite, delivering both the best and the worst Pangaea has to offer a broken people. No one, whether Highbourne or Low, whether mortal or High Immortal, can escape the city’s darkness once it takes hold.
In that darkness a young Cougar seeks to shine a small light by helping those less fortunate. And with some luck, atone for past sins committed out of inexperience.
Her protector; an Elf whose past has left him defeated and whose boss seeks only to keep them both under his heel.
A terrible accident can either set them both free or see them forever ensnared, or worse…dead.

“Every now and then a Ranger, near the end of his life or edge of her sanity, enters Lyonesse in a last-ditch effort to bring a small measure of hope to the hopeless.
Predictably, their life span is short and violent.”

Annette Johnson | 9 comments Hi there I am new here. I would love to review your book.

I am the author of A Jazzman's Tale, a screenplay memoir about Charles Freeman Lee, 1950s jazzman as he tries to make it on trumpet in New York City after falling in love with another jazzman's wife.

It is funny in places dramatic in others.

Annette Johnson | 9 comments Hi Josh

I am Annette Johnson author of A Jazzman's Tale.

I would like to know whether I can help you read at least one book by every author by asking you to review A Jazzman's Tale.

Research shows that new ways of engaging the younger generation (YA) is necessary for jazz to continue going forward.

This screenplay memoir of Charles Freeman Lee is read that allows you to pick up jazz history and listen on youtube to the music mentioned in the book.

The book is meant to demystify jazz as a music anyone can listen to, old or young, elites non elites.

Thank you. I tried to join diabolical shrimp a few days ago and it would not let me. i am going to try again.

Thanks again.

Aaron Smith | 4 comments Hi Joshua!

Wow, what a mission you have got! I bet you save a lot of lives (or writers) ;)

By any chance do you think you would be interesting in reviewing a Christian (non-fiction) book? My book is called Meditations of a Hedge Fund Manager and it is essentially a guide to living modern life according to Christian principles but in a practical way and getting more fulfillment out of living that way.

In any case, I'm just happy to see you doing this generous work and wish you all the BEST!!

Yael Shahar | 1 comments Hey Josh,

To add to your growing list, here are two for the price of one (er...that's two times 0 cents).

Kasva Press has two books available via NetGalley for early reviewers and book bloggers. The first, Returning, is my own work. It’s a dark, but uplifting story of a holocaust survivor’s search for atonement for what he did to survive.
Read more about it here Returning
Download it here:
https://www.netgalley.com/catalog/boo...

Too heavy for you? Well, the second book, Silverhorn, by Marri Marri Champié, is a light urban fantasy with some memorable characters. Download it at:
https://www.netgalley.com/catalog/boo...

Good luck on the shrimp2space thing! Off to add these books to your site!
