Joshua Grant | 53 comments Hello! My name is Josh Grant and I’m on a quest to read and review one book from every author in the entire world! Yes, I know, it’s insane, but that’s sort of the latitude I operate in.
On my site, Diabolic Shrimp, I buy at least one book from our list of authors each week and eventually review that book on Amazon, Goodreads, and Diabolic Shrimp. I also buy a book each month to give away to our readers (so if you’re a reader reading this, then pop on by too). I’m a strong believer that authors should get paid for their work so I don’t require you to pay or do anything to receive this support (other than join Diabolic Shrimp which is free).
There are many other optional opportunities on Diabolic Shrimp to receive support as well such as competitions and free advertising. So if you’re interested in helping me on my quest, check out the link below!

Hey Tony! I love Japan! I'd also love to review your book! I do however insist that authors get paid for their work. Thus I personally never accept giveaways. I do buy at least one book a week on Diabolic Shrimp and review them. If that sounds useful to you, come visit Diabolic Shrimp! Cheers!

Hey there Joshua,

I wrote a humor book about dating as a "Below Average Guy" in today's modern dating world. Read only if the topic interests you :)

Tips & Tales: for the Average (or Below Average) Single American Male.
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B077VRN6K2/
173 pages (with pictures)

A humorous self-help book filled with tales from the author who came out of a three year relationship and was completely clueless as how to navigate the emerging trend of modern digital dating. The reader will not only get just the tip, but also some hilarious, self-deprecating stories that you can laugh at or commiserate with... or both!

Hey Haris! I'm happy you're with us! It usually takes me a week to get people who joined uploaded since I read and respond to everyone personally as part of my way of getting to know them. I'm a staunch believer in paying people for their work, so I'll eventually buy your novel and review it (I don't actually accept free copies personally). I look forward to checking it out though! :)

I'm also a huge lover of video games. My most recent novel was heavily influenced by the Final Fantasy series and the cover was done by Tyler Edlin who worked on Zelda Breath of the Wild. What games do you like to write/make? Have a great day and I'll be e-mailing you soon!

Sudarshan Mahabal (sudarshanmahabal) | 3 comments Love Trumps All!
Ever wondered how Google, Microsoft and many other Silicon Valley companies get their India born CEOs? Do immigrated Indians go back to their motherland? Are Americans warming up to the idea to become immigrants to developing world?
Few copies available in the US for review.

Read to find more in Indo-American themed drama/self discovery:

Love Trumps All! - Tale of Cultural Crossovers
Five friends, five religions, five ideologies, five inseparable interwoven stories of transformation and self-discovery on a global stage.
A story that spans across Y2K opportunities of the late 90s to the current backdrop of Trump election.

Anant Joshi, a dreamer who chases the American dream during Y2K rush and leapfrogs from a small Indian town to start-up innovative Silicon Valley venture.

Chris O’Brian, an energetic and creative high-tech sales leader from New York who is driven by his passion for life, creativity and making it big.

Sameera Qureshi, a young gynecologist from Hyderabad attending her medical residency in California, trying to find love and her true human identity.

Amy Cohen, a lively, articulate, compassionate pediatrician from Tel Aviv who is ready to ride on larger than life waves and build a legacy.

Madhura Sharma, journalist and social worker from Mumbai driven by her nationalistic ideals and drive to help others.

What happens when their paths intersect and blend amidst their divisions across nationality, religion, and ideals?
An interwoven story of these five unlikely friends, over two decades of tracing their paths and connecting their dots across the globe in Silicon Valley, New York, Mumbai, Pune, Hyderabad, Kathmandu and Khamgaon (small-town India full of youth with stars-and-stripes in their eyes) in a world powered by immigration and ‘reverse immigration’.

“Fresh global perspectives and zesty cross-cultural romance in a gripping plot with a twist in the tail!”

“A story of unification and humanism in times of growing divisions over religion and nationality”

Adam Martin | 8 comments Hi Josh, I joined Diabolic Shrimp, and I'm looking for reviews of my first novel "Xenoman," a satirical dystopian sci-fi fantasy. Let me know if you are interested and what you need from me. Thanks!
Adam

Brief synopsis: Xeno yearns to have access to The Nth Dimension like The White Boys, famed telepaths who suffered brain damage when they made contact with extraterrestrial intelligence. Out of work as a bartender since the Shoki Pao dance club mysteriously burned down, Xeno's lackluster lifestyle is getting harder to maintain.

Having survived an overdose of Black Magic, and successfully revived by Drinama, a brain implant slipped to him as a Mickey at a job fair, Xeno earns an entry level position as an agent for secret service organization Intellegella. Garry, his handler, introduces Xeno to the industrial version of the black box, allowing Xeno's pineal gland access to synthetic sensory perception with the turn of a dial.

Xeno's initial mission is to test the black box on the field, under Garry's watchful eye, and to locate Trianne, an ex co-worker, ex model, ex pole dancer for the Shoki Pao, gone missing and showing signs of spontaneous human combustion, an emerging side effect of Black Magic, and a public safety hazard.

All he has to do is bring Trianne back to Intellegella for treatment. It's that simple . . . according to Garry.

Tom Sadira (tsadira) Dear Josh,

First of all, I think what you're setting out to do is friggin' honorable. Kudos, brother!

Secondly, as much as I'd love for you to read and review the pilot book in my scifi/action/comedy series, The Joint of No Return (an intergalactic bestseller just published here on Earth yesterday), I must insist that you PLEASE refrain from doing so.

Look, I realize you may download the sample from Amazon, or be tempted to grab it for free from KU. I understand the cover art will probably draw you in like a dung beetle to a steaming camel turd. I get it. But please, for the love of everything on our fragile planet... I beg you: DO NOT READ IT.

Why the drama? Apparently, I forgot to secure legal rights to mention certain planets and their species,.. and apparently this was in violation of some galactic treaty or something, and APPARENTLY every Earthling that reads my book puts our entire planet in danger of disciplinary mass extinction. Whatever. What a bunch of squares.

Look, until I get these galactic lawyers off my ass, please just be satisfied to bask in the amazing Amazon descriptions and interplanetary reviews here : https://amzn.to/2H5LGkK

P.S.: I must address your courage around announcing the lack of shrimp you've launched into space. No other reviewers have that courage... in fact I can't think of anyone who even bothers mentioning it. Hit me up with a PM and I'll hook you up with a dude I know at SpaceX who can smuggle a shrimp or two into orbit.

Peace!

Tom

Livian Grey Hi, I'm an Australian author who was recently picked up by an American indie publisher and I was hoping you'd be keen to review my novel Into The Other. This is available from my publisher but is also listed on Amazon. I am willing to send a free PDF copy if you'd like to review this.
Thanks
Synopsis: Faced with imprisonment for murder, a young woman named Josie encounters a strange and malignant man known as Calder, who offers her a way out at a high price: she must give him her firstborn baby. Agreeing under duress, Josie later attempts to renege on the deal, but Calder eventually returns to take what he claims is rightfully his.

Josie moves on, struggling to come to terms with Calder’s machinations. Meanwhile, her child is raised by Calder on the boundary to another realm known as The Other, a beautiful but deadly place for those who are not from there. A twist of fate has Josie believing she may have bested Calder at last, however he refuses to let her have her way when he returns to present her with a newer, more harrowing choice.

Thank you!!
