Single-Issue Magazines

I was recently given an item that looks book-like but lacks an ISBN. I looked it up and found that it is technically what appears to be called a "single-issue magazine," though it is sold by Amazon in the "Books" section of their site. I was wondering what Goodreads's policy is on these "single-issue magazines."

Goodreads does not consider such items books, and they should not be added to the database.
